Legendary Canadian Deathrashers SARKASM, have just revealed details of what will be their second full length album that will be entitled "Carnival of Atrocities" which will see the light next January 7th through Xtreem Music on CD, 12"LP, Cassette & Digital formats.
SARKASM is a legendary Canadian Death/Thrash band formed in 1990, which released 4 demos until they broke up in 1994. The band reformed intermittently since then, but it wasn't until 2019 when the original lineup that released their 2nd demo '92 "Inner Flame", decided to come together to write and record what was their 1st full album, signing with Xtreem Music for the worldwide release of said album titled "As Empires Decay" in January 2023.
SARKASM's new album "Carnival of Atrocities" has been recorded at the House of Gain Studios with producer Maxime Lacroix and again mastered in Germany at Unisound Studios by Dan Swanö. This new work will continue in the line of their already known style of technical, fresh and addictive Death/ Thrash in the vein of bands like early GORGUTS, OBLIVEON, DEATH, PESTILENCE, ABSORBED, BELIEVER... As additional information, we should mention that their vocalist Bruno Bernier is actually recording the new album by the legendary OBLIVEON, as well.

Hollands' oldest death metal band THANATOS is premiering a video from the group's upcoming anniversary album & DVD "Four Decades Of Death", set to celebrate the 40th year of the band's existence on November 15th via Agonia Records. Watch "Global Purification", taken from the DVD, here:
"From beyond the grave we bring you this album with unreleased stuff from the past four decades plus a cool live registration of our last show ever," comments THANATOS's founder, Stephan Gebédi (Hail Of Bullets). "Filmed at the Baroeg Open Air festival in our hometown Rotterdam on September 10th 2022, the band played songs ranging from the early demo days to our final album «Violent Death Rituals» in front of about 8000 people. This is a posthumous celebration of our 40th anniversary. Releasing this rare, unreleased stuff on CD/vinyl and our final show on DVD feels like a great way to end things or, to put it more bluntly, put the last nail in our coffin!"

czterech kolesi z Wrocławia, a album zatytułowany milusio „Zgnij” jest ich
drugim wydawnictwem, zarazem drugimdużym albumem. Przyznam, że pierwszego materiału nie słyszałem, nie mam
zatem żadnego punktu odniesienia, ale gdybym miał nadrabiać na zawołanie

Finnish symphonic Black Metal duo PESTILENT HEX unveil a second track from their upcoming album, "Sorceries of Sanguine & Shadow". 'Through Mirrors Beyond' uses haunting orchestration to transform ferocious riffing and blasting into symphonic grandeur - a masterful fusion of Black Metal majesty and swirling chaos.
Band-members M. Malignant and L. Oathe share insights on 'Through Mirrors Beyond' and also the previously released track, 'Sciomancy and Sortilege':
M.: "Choosing the singles was actually pretty difficult this time around as the songs on the album are quite varied. I personally battled with the idea of presenting the closing track 'Sanguine Gnosis' but we will leave this lengthy epic for people to discover later. 'Through Mirrors Beyond' was the better choice at this stage, and is perhaps the track that is also closest to the style presented on our debut album."
L.: "The album has a lot of variation between the songs that makes more sense in the album context rather than single cuts. 'Sciomancy and Sortilege' has more of a storyline, going from A to B, while this one is more, I wouldn't call reserved, but more of a traditional structure in a way that it has almost chorus and verse type songwriting going on. 'Mirrors…' offer a counterbalance for 'Sciomancy…' before switching back to a more intense mood. We are not talking merely BPMs but the overall feel of the track."

It has been four years since the release of Independence to the Beast (2020) and during this time, Canis Dirus have been refining their savage, yet atmospheric black metal during what has been the most prolific era of their career. 2021 found the split release, A Harmonious Union of Vibration, to surface with the project Crown of Asteria, where Canis Dirus contributed two new tracks that blended their own unique form of twisted blackness, along with an ambient influence. Canberra (AU) - Australian-based Symphonic Death Metal band, Project: Ultimate Satan, will release their highly anticipated debut album, The Opus Satanas, November 29 on Eschatonic Records!
A lyric video for "Nocturne Immortalis," the third and final single taken from The Opus Satanas, is a celebration and final observance of those who always were and have always been. Check it out at: youtu.be/trsYtCmZOtc.
Project: Ultimate Satan was formed late 2019. The band features Eschatonic Records alumni from Inhuman Remnants, Black Mountain, Terravorous, Unholy Vendetta and Somnium Nox.
The Opus Satanas was forged amidst the Fires and Plagues of 2020 and 2021. As Project: Ultimate Satan sought to push the sonic possibilities of their unique blend of Blackened Death Metal, they focused on the inclusion of more symphonic elements, orchestrations and lyrical content that would honour those that called to them from across the vast depths of the cosmos.
July 2022 saw the release of their first single "Symphony Es Infernus," an auspicious ode to Lillith Liftoach. However, due to further outbreaks, lockdowns and restrictions, their accompanying live rituals would be restricted to the ACT and the South Coast regions.
February 2024 saw the release of their second single "The Infallible Void." The song is a sonic exploration and meditations on the darkness within us all.
