Line-up changes /New bands: Bell Witch (funeral doom), Caligula's Horse (progressive metal), Extinction A.D. (crossover thrash / groove) & Midnight (speed black / thrashy punk). 🇬🇧 We are sorry to announce that Holy Fawn, Manes, Unto Others, The Acacia Strain and The Agonist will not be appearing at Brutal #26. This year will be slightly more challenging in that respect and there may be some further changes. We will keep you posted.

Melodic Waves: the new band update for Brutal #26 brings IN FLAMES 🔥 One of the festival's headliners is Swedish icon In Flames who mix the greatest strengths of their groundbreaking albums with the seasoned songwriting of their postmodern era on their new album „Foregone“. The unique nature and aesthetics of the Nordic nature will be brought to life musically by Norwegians Borknagar (haven't played Brutal for 10 years!) and Finns Wolfheart. Personally related with Insomnium are Omnium Gatherum who are not afraid to play faster or add a progressive passages. Adding another dimension to the Scandinavian quartet's view of melodics is Be'lakor from Australia with their impressive musical range full of emotions, details, arrangements and moods! We're here with the second update for Brutal #26, bringing powerful returns but also includes three premieres! Among the returnees is Brazil's most famous band SEPULTURA, black metal panzer-bestie MARDUK and one representative of 'The Big Four' ANTHRAX. After whole 9 years we welcome on the brutal roster the death metal traditionalists BENEDICTION, followed by hardcore matadors TERROR, thrashers SUICIDAL ANGELS and I AM MORBID. There's no Morbid Angel without Trey, but the morbid-duo David Vincent and Pete Sandoval will come to play "Covenant". Together with "Legion" it's the second death metal gem that Brutal 2023 will offer you. The last three names are the festival's first-timers! All three bands have a rather distinctive take on deathcore and prove how powerful a player can deathcore in the extreme scene be. There will be a slaughter under the stage, look forward to SIGNS OF THE SWARM, WITHIN DESTRUCTION and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY.

The first names in the lineup of Brutal Assault 2023! The early birds tickets for Brutal #26 were sold-out very fast, thanks again! Now to the bands. The original line-up will be the hardcore legend Biohazard! The premiere of the Brutal will be explosive corist Beartooth, old school deathcore Gatecreeper or Canadian tech-death hurricane Archspire. The return of Trivium, whose music has seen the return of youthful enthusiasm on their last three albums. We revel in the excitement that the immortal cult of "Legion" will be brought to its 30th anniversary by Deicide. On the other hand, we'll see new releases from the crushing Dying Fetus, you'll be able to 'worship' the Swedish gods Hypocrisy, the cult Napalm Death or the convoy of death itself from the Valley of the Kings: Nile. Even though the currently confirmed ten bands look more deathmetalish, there is no need to worry, in the next batch we will turn the helm in another direction. The first names in the line-up of Brutal Assault 2023!
After the early birds tickets for the 26th edition of Brutal Assault were sold-out very fast, it's time to start revealing what excited fans can look forward to. Although the currently confirmed ten bands seem to be deathmetalish, fans looking for diversity and novelty in the festival line-up need not worry, the next batch will turn the helm in a different direction.
It's hard to pick a stronger artist in the current ten when the pillars of the genre are just glittering here. Let's start with the return of hardcore legend BIOHAZARD, who hasn't toured or recorded since 2015. But the right time has come and Biohazard in their original line-up are going to bring you the heaviest calibers!
For the first time on Brutal will be eccentric corists BEARTOOTH, whose concerts are literally explosive. Also appearing for the first time will be old school death metalers GATECREEPER or Canadian tech-death hurricane ARCHSPIRE.
Update, however, has the power of a death metal legion. How could it not, the immortal cult "Legion" will bring DEICIDE to its 30th anniversary. On the other hand, news can be expected from the shredding DYING FETUS, you will be able to worship Swedish gods HYPOCRISY, the cult NAPALM DEATH or the death convoy from the Valley of the Kings itself, which will once again make its way to Josefov: NILE.
Last but not least on the roster are TRIVIUM. Matt Heafy's youthful enthusiasm has returned to the party on the last three albums, giving Trivium back not only energy, speed and dynamics, but also incisive riffs and memorable melodies, including catchy, not intrusive choruses. And their new single shows that they intend to keep it up!
