BAND UPDATE WITH TANKARD, HYPOCRISY, AND ANATHEMA!!

 

 

Here we are again and we truly hope that this announcement will be metal to your ears! Last time we announced German thrashers DESTRUCTION, and this time we're announcing someone in the same vein. We have, in their best shape of all time, TANKARD with 6,66% of alcohol! Boozy chants will sound from their newest album 'Hymns for the Drunk' (2018) which will showcase all their hits from their career spanning over 30 years.

From one group of moshers to another group of moshers – straight, raw and relentless hardcore with a pinch of British brat-like attitude – exactly what you'd expect from the Leeds guys HIGHER POWER. A little more emotive British music comes with the announcement of the one and only band that can still leave us breathless and in awe. Of course, we're talking about the legendary ANATHEMA! They will come to sooth our pain-filled souls with their successful album 'The Optimist' (2017) and also reminisce about their older doom metal days.

There are a lot of bands inspired by ANATHEMA, but only a few do it in their own unique way, like OCEANS OF SLUMBER do. The dark progressive Texans, with the unforgettable voice of Cammie Gilbert, will be something for the lovers of dreamy and emotive melodies. We’ll stick with the dark tunes for a little and introduce you to the death/doom metal sextet from Belarus, WOE UNTO ME, who will come with their latest work 'The Voidness Flasher' (2017).

Away from the doom-ish tunes for a moment, let’s look at some more hard wave. The next band on the line-up, is no other than New York death metal legends IMMOLATION! Their newest album, 'Atonement' (2017) is proof of death metal domination and will echo throughout the walls of Josefov fortress in 2019. An equally important name are the Swedish kings who have woken up after a long slumber – HYPOCRISY! They are right now crushing stages all over the world and BRUTAL ASSAULT is their next target.

The last name in this announcement are the dark black metal project from Finland – VARGRAV. With a shady veil of mist covering this group, it's sure to be pleasure to the ears of all fans of gourmet music like LIMBONIC ART, ABIGOR, or early EMPEROR.
