NECROPHILIAC sign to Xtreem Music; new album in the works!!
NECROPHILIAC, Spain's pioneer Death Metal band, has just signed to Xtreem Music for the release of their long-awaited 2nd album, 27 years after their legendary debut "Chaopula - Citadel of Mirrors"
released in 1992 by the pre-Xtreem Music label, Drowned Productions.
This new album is in the process of recording, with its planned
completion by the end of the year and will be released in February 2020.
NECROPHILIAC emerged in 1988 and recorded 5 demos before releasing their classic debut album "Chaopula - Citadel of Mirrors" in 1992, becoming one of the milestones of the genre within the Spanish Death Metal scene. The band dissolved a year later, and returned in 2016 coinciding with the re-issue, through Xtreem Music, of their album in a 2-CD set with all their demos, under the title of "Maze of Forking Paths". Since then, the band has been offering selected shows within the spanish territory and writing new songs for what will be their second full length, which is being recorded by Jesús "Punti" Montilla in the Sonic Banana Studios and will be mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios. The cover art will be a conceptual work created by the artist Artem Grigoryev (www.facebook.com/grigoryev.art).
The current lineup of NECROPHILIAC, has four of the original members: Bongo (vocals), Ery (guitar), Miguel (guitar) and Sweick (drums), plus the newly incorporated bassist Ramón. The new material that the band is recording, from what we have been able to hear, will not disappoint any of the band's followers and will be released on both CD and 12 "LP.

NECROPHILIAC la banda pionera del Death Metal en España, acaba de fichar por Xtreem Music para la edición de su largamente esperado 2º álbum, 27 años después de su mítico debut "Chaopula - Citadel of Mirrors" lanzado en 1992 por el sello pre-Xtreem Music, Drowned Productions. Este nuevo álbum está en proceso de grabación, teniendo prevista su finalización para finales de año y verá la luz en Febrero de 2020.
NECROPHILIAC surgieron en 1988 y grabaron 5 demos antes de lanzar su clásico álbum debut "Chaopula - Citadel of Mirrors" en 1992, convirtiéndose en una de las piedras angulares del género dentro de la escena Death Metal en España. La banda se disolvió un año depués, y volvió en 2016 coincidiendo con la re-edición, a través de Xtreem Music, de su álbum en formato 2-CD con todas sus demos, bajo el título de "Maze of Forking Paths". Desde entonce,s la banda ha estado ofreciendo selectos shows por la geografía nacional y componiendo nuevos temas para lo que será su segundo larga duración, el cual está siendo grabado por Jesús "Punti" Montilla en los estudios de Plátano Sónico y será masterizado por Dan Swanö en los Unisound Studios. El arte de la portada será una pieza conceptual creada por el artista Artem Grigoryev (www.facebook.com/grigoryev.art).
La actual formación de NECROPHILIAC, cuenta con cuatro de los miembros originales: Bongo (voz), Ery (guitarra), Miguel (guitarra) y Sweick (batería) más el bajista de reciente incorporación, Ramón. El nuevo material que está grabando la banda, por lo que hemos podido escuchar, no defraudará a ninguo de los seguidores de la banda y será lanzado tanto en CD como en 12"LP.
