Forged in a crucible of traditional heavy metal and doom, an international metal supergroup named Ancient Fury has emerged, ready to bring a unique dual-lead vocal onslaught on the world.

Members of the quintet are Dario Beretta (Drakkar, Crimson Dawn), Justin Biggs (Sorcerer), Arkadius Kurek (Wheel), Edo Sala (Folkstone) and Melissa Pinion (Stygian Crown).
Beretta, the visionary for the project, sought to create an old-school sound in the vein of both classic and contemporary traditional heavy metal bands, from Dio and Cirith Ungol to Grand Magus and Atlantean Kodex. He connected first with Pinion, who suggested a male and female lead vocalist in the lineup. Pinion felt Kurek, who she met while performing together at the 2022 “Hammer of Doom” festival in Germany, would be the perfect choice to join her on vocals. Biggs, Sala and Pinion had already collaborated with Beretta on various charitable recording projects.
