Recenzja Vicious Blade „Relentless Force”

 Vicious Blade

„Relentless Force”

Redefining Darkness 2024

(Czytaj dalej...)

„Resurrection: Beginning Of The End”

Self Release 2020

(Czytaj dalej...)

Rozpiska i parę słów od organizatora Black Waves

Joł. Wpada rozpiska czasowa edycji 9.

Jeśli byłoby zaiteresowanie to mozemy ogarnąć po zakonczeniu busy/autobusy w interesujących Was kierunkach odjazdu (Poznań Kalisz/Ostrów).

(Czytaj dalej...)

(Czytaj dalej...)

Pre-save “Międzyczas” via digital platforms: https://bfan.link/ohg-miedzyczas

“Międzyczas” is an evolution of Odium Humani Generis’ sound which started with 2020’s debut album “Przeddzień” (Cult of Parthenope) and 2022’s EP “Zarzewie” (Folter Records). The album is a journey that moves through the emotional stages of fear, disappointment, sadness and loneliness resounding in every song. Listeners may notice influences from bands such as Taake, Drudkh, Lifelover, Sacrilegium, Vemod or Furia; however, Odium Humani Generis goes a step further, adding subtle but clear references to sounds outside of the traditional spheres of black metal. Despite its melancholic character, the album is full of energetic moments that break the dark, introspective parts and give the music intensity.

“Międzyczas” was recorded with Mariusz Konieczny at Heavy Gear Studio, and the album was mixed and mastered by The Fall (Owls Woods Graves, Hauntologist, Mgła (live)) at Skrzypłocz Studio. The unique graphic design was created by Emilia Śpiewak, and the band photos were taken by Radosław Chojnacki.

Odium Humani Generis was established in 2015 in Łódź, Poland. The band comprises Biały on vocals and guitars, Murukh (ex-Fadheit) on drums, Bartos (Imperator, Pandemonium) on bass, Ominous (Nightbound) on guitars. Over the years, the band has toured with bands such as Carpathian Forest, Mgła, Spectral Wound and In Twilight’s Embrace, and supported acts such as Uada, Mortiis, Panzerfaust, Negative Plane, Ellende, Pillorian, Hate, Malokarpatan. OHG also performed at various European festivals including Under the Black Sun (DE), Throne Fest (BE) and Cosmic Void Festival (UK).

PERFIDIOUS prezentują nowy numer

Italian death metallers PERFIDIOUS will be releasing their second studio album, “Savouring His Flesh”, on October 25th 2024 via Time To Kill Records. Following the acclaim for their first single, the band is now revealing the second offering from the record, the single "Enclosed In My Vision", which can be heard HERE.

The band commented: "'Enclosed in my Vision' is a dense and groovy song. It represents a transition phase for the whole band, both musically and creatively. In this track, we pushed ourselves to experiment with new dynamics while keeping the crushing energy that defines our sound. It's aggressive, yet it marks a step forward in our evolution, showing a more refined side of our death metal roots. We're excited to share this next chapter with everyone".

Tracklist:

01 - Intro
02 - A Throne I Will Build
03 - Savouring His Flesh From The Cross
04 - In The Reign Of Perpetual Agony
05 - Blood Of Sinner
06 - Master Of Illusions
07 - Infernal Vengeance (Jesus Dead)
08 - Your World Crumbles
09 - Enclosed In My Vision

Singiel od VASHVILLE

Nashville (TN) - U.S. Melodic Black Metal horde, Lenax, have released new single, "We Are Legion," on all digital platforms!

Click the links below to stream/buy!

"We Are Legion" is the second single, following "Leeches," that will appear on the band's forthcoming full-length debut album, Infection.

"We Are Legion" tells the story of a greedy magician who calls upon multiple demonic forces in an act of greed and a lust for power. Unbeknowst to him, the demonic forces assemble into the mythical LEGION, and overpower the would-be sorcerer.

The second song released by the band in its current lineup, "We Are Legion" reflects the same core sound Venomous (vocals, guitar) explored during the band's early phase as a solo project. Tracked during the same sessions as "Leeches," the song features guitarist Mordred on bass guitar and session drummer Maikon Queiroz.

The band is currently in the writing and recording phase for Infection, which will be released in 2025.

Wytwórnia Via Nocturna

Obsidian Mantra to wielkopolska formacja deathmetalowa założona w 2014 roku. Ich muzyka łączy groove-centryczne, techniczne riffy z rozmytymi black metalowymi motywami. Unikając chwytliwych refrenów i łatwych melodii, zespół pozostaje wierny staroszkolnemu death metalowi, nie próbując jednak wskrzeszać minionej epoki.

Nowy płyta “As We All Will” to trzeci album grupy. Album został zrealizowany w Heinrich House Studio, a za oprawę graficzną odpowiada pochodząca z Hiszpanii artystka - Pilar Martínez. Płyta ukazuje się dzięki wytwórni Via Nocturna.

“"As We All Will" mierzy się z egzystencjalnymi trudami człowieczeństwa. Album eksploruje nieuchronność cierpienia, uniwersalność lęków i słabości oraz konieczność stawienia czoła ogromowi obojętnego wszechświata jako jednostka i przezwyciężenia samego siebie.” - tak o swoim albumie mówi Obsidian Mantra.

Obsidian Mantra to:
Kacper Kajzderski - wokal, bas
Mateusz Witan - gitara
Mateusz Wróbel - perkusja

Lista utworów na albmie "As We All Will":

CRYPTORIUM zapowiadają debiut

On November 29th internationally, Personal Records is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Sweden's Cryptorium, Descent Into Lunacy, on CD format. Iron Fortress Records will be handling the cassette tape version.

Hailing from Karlstad, Sweden's Cryptorium started in November of 2022 by Fabian Larsen, Knalle Arvidsson, and a drummer who was fired within the first five months of the band. Due to lack of drummer, Fabian and Knalle continued writing material as a duo, which would later take shape as the Cryptic Bloodlust demo, which was released in July 2023. The demo was released digitally and as an independent cassette tape limited to 20, which sold out on preorder before the release date. The band later made 30 more independent cassettes, which all sold out within a month. Cryptic Bloodlust was also issued on cassette by Iron Fortress Records and on CD through Nihil Productions.

A week after the release, the demo was heard by Albin Holgersson, who would join Cryptorium and save them from disbanding completely. Now, as a trio, stronger than ever, Cryptorium started to write music for what was going to become their debut full-length, Descent Into Lunacy. The recording process was done parallelly with the band playing shows from December 2023 to April 2024 - and now, it's ready to be unleashed.

Faster, louder, and ruder than ever, Cryptorium have risen from the ashes of the glory days of Swedish death metal during the late '80s and early '90s. Taking inspiration from such bands as Dismember, Entombed, Nirvana 2002, Dissection, and Gorement, Cryptorium's Descent Into Lunacy is aptly titled: madness, mania, METAL, all evil as fuck and gutted beyond belief. Unholy and uneasy, this eight-song / 30-minute slab doesn't want to reinvent the wheel so much as rot it from within; no more but definitely no less, this is relentless, gloomy, and merciless HM-2-driven DEATH METAL made for the depraved to consume. Dare you Descent Into Lunacy? NOT FOR WHIMPS AND POSERS!

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Void of Life" HERE at Personal Records' Bandcamp. Preorder info can be found HERE. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Singiel od FIVE THE HIEROPHANT

Saxophone-driven avant-garde metal eccentrics FIVE THE HIEROPHANT reveal new single off their upcoming album "Apeiron". The UK-based band teamed up with Agonia Records for its October 18th release, accompanied by a tour of Europe. Listen to "Moon Over Ziggurat", here:

FIVE THE HIEROPHANT continues to walk the winding path they’ve chosen for themselves in the beginning; further down towards within, and further out towards new horizons. Refusing to ascribe to a singular style, they blend elements of black/doom, psychedelic, ambient, experimental and jazz into one syncretic trip. “Apeiron” is a hypnotic, hallucinatory experience with heavy emphasis on the dark atmosphere, cinematic dreamscapes, and repetitive ritualistic trance-inducing sounds. The production, without a doubt, is a step up from the previous installment, “Through Aureate Void”. The band keeps expanding the use of atypical instruments, such as: horns, trumpets, gongs, bells, violins, skull shakers, ritual drums and other tools, which help to capture the haunting spirit of the music.

Singiel od AIWAZ

Aiwaz proudly presents new single "The Ghost That Once Was I" on all streaming platforms! Aiwaz's "The Ghost That Once Was I" envelops listeners in a melancholic journey through haunting melodies and profound lyrical depth, showcasing the band's mastery of evocative Doom Metal!

Nowy numer SIGN OF THE JACKAL

Today, heavy metal survivors Sign of the Jackal premiere the new track "Buio Omega" at the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) YouTube channel. The track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated third album, Heavy Metal Survivors, set for international release on November 22nd via Dying Victims Productions. Hear Sign of the Jackal's "Buio Omega" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Since 2007, Italy’s Sign of the Jackal have been carrying the torch for traditional, female-fronted HEAVY METAL of an authentically mid ‘80s vintage. Over the past 15 years, they’ve played stages all over Europe and delivered two full-lengths – 2013’s Mark of the Beast and 2018’s Dying Victims-released Breaking the Spell – along with a preceding demo and EP: not too shabby for a band who began, humbly enough, with covers of obscure underground metal bands from the ‘80s! Naturally, the electric vocals of Laura DemonsQueen are front and center, but Sign of the Jackal’s gleaming chrome pulses with pure mid-‘80s speed metal energy, all injected with a heaping helping of classic ‘70s Italian horror atmosphere.

Nowy numer od BÜTCHER

Today, Belgian speed metallers Bütcher reveal the new track "Blessed by the Blade." The track is the first to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated third album, On Fowl of Tyrant Wing, set for international release on October 25th via Osmose Productions. Hear Bütcher's "Blessed by the Blade" in its entirety HERE at Osmose's official YouTube channel.

Bütcher have exploded onto the scene and have been making a name for themselves internationally. Their music caters to the blackened souls who love old-school speed, thrash, heavy, and black metals. Cuts such as "Iron Bitch," "45 RPM Metal," and "666 Goats Carry My Chariot" are now part of the canon of the old-school metal community.

After an avalanche of successful shows and festivals throughout Europe, Bütcher are proud to present their third album, On Fowl of Tyrant Wing. After the rabid debut Bestial Fükkin’ Warmachine (Babylon Doom Cult Records, 2017) and the heralded sophomore album 666 Goats Carry My Chariot (Osmose Productions, 2020), they delve deep into their specific mixture of the golden '80s and extreme '90s.

Bütcher have always mixed ancient speed and thrash metal with NWOBHM, classic hard rock and black metal. On side A of the new album, they continue their very own legacy. On side B, they double down on that premise. It's a concept side with an overarching unique story (written by R Hellshrieker) and a fully composed tour de force (by KK Ripper) where tempo changes, interwoven melodies, sitars, organs, and various percussion instruments create an unexpected musical journey.

Heavy, death, and black metals counter the speed metal, and nobody will see it coming. Both progressive and very traditional, this album is sure to opiate fans and critics alike.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Blessed by the Blade" HERE at Osmose Productions' official YouTube channel. Preorder info can be found HERE. Cover artwork, courtesy of the legendary Kris Verwimp, and tracklisting are as follows:

Singiel THYRMR

Today, Nordic cinematic ambient artist Thyrmr - AKA Trym Torson, former drummer of Emperor and Enslaved - reveals the new tracks "Vandringen" and "Trusselen." The tracks are the first to be revealed from his highly anticipated debut album, Saga of the North, set for international release on November 27th via Darkness Shall Rise Productions. Hear Thyrmr's "Vandringen" HERE and "Tusselen" HERE, both in their entirety at Darkness Shall Rise's official YouTube channel.

Trym Torson, who is widely known as having been the drummer on landmark albums of Norwegian black metal like Emperor's Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk or Enslaved's Vikingligr veldi and Frost, moved into uncharted waters by composing music inspired by his longstanding passion for movie soundtracks and ambient music. Thyrmr doesn't have much in common with black metal, but the eight tracks that make up the debut album Saga of the North are not to be missed if you are into dark sounds àla Mortiis or Summoning!

Zapowiedź debiutu ABHORRATION

Invictus Productions is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Norway's Abhorration, Demonolatry, on CD and vinyl LP formats. The CD version will be released on October 4th while the vinyl LP version will follow on November 1st.

Formed in early 2020 in Oslo, Norway's Abhorration feature members hailing from such bands as Condor, Nekromantheon, Hecatomb, Resonaut, Purple Hill Witch, and Obliteration. While one could reasonably expect what sound might result from such a conglomeration, the power-trio's first public recording, 2021's After Winter Comes War EP, aimed for an olde-world Metal of Death that abounded with a refreshing sense of the "new." Now, Abhorration are prepared to go deeper into the olde vs. "new" with their first full-length.

Simply and elegantly titled Demonolatry, Abhorration's debut album immediately sets forth the same foundation as its short-length predecessor, invoking and rearranging trace elements of classic Sadistic Intent, Morbid Angel, Possessed, and early Vader into something uniquely labyrinthine. But the execution here is impossibly sharper and, frankly, blanching: you literally FEEL each note and drum hit as the quartet bleed for the Devil before their own altars of madness. That the production's suitably rough 'n' raw but clear(ly analog) ably benefits the band's bursting-at-the-seams attack, which also sees an infusion of Vomitor-esque solo-squall. If one difference is to be made to After Winter Comes War, save for the slow-burn stomp of "The Grace of Immolation," it's that Demonolatry excises anything haunting in favor of an equally epic but far-more-coiling style of songwriting that's always moving, moving, MOVING. The wicked angularity of prime Axis of Advance is still in there, but Abhorration leave no breath for pause; an inexorable descent into oblivion is sought, and achieved - quickly. Will you be able to keep up? AAARRRRGGGHHH!

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Ai Apaec" HERE at Abhorration's Bandcamp. Cover artwork, courtesy of RK Valbo, and tracklisting are as follows:
