One of Europe’s most revered underground black metal gatherings returns with its most ambitious edition yet
Prague, Czech Republic – May 2025 – After two years of anticipation, Prague Death Mass V is set to unfold over five unholy nights, marking the return of one of Europe's most respected and elusive underground black metal festivals. Running from October 29 to November 2, 2025, this milestone edition expands both in scale and vision, presenting 36 bands across three 3 venues, and culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime immersive experience at the Prague Planetarium.

A New Sanctuary for Sonic Devotion
The heart of the festival takes place over three nights at the Křižík Pavilions - a new, more spacious sanctuary for this black mass. True to its tradition of carefully curated lineups, Prague Death Mass V transcends genre orthodoxy while remaining anchored in the bleak roots of black metal. Attendees can expect performances from a potent international mix of established legends and cult obscurities:

The festival opens with Ante-Liturgia, a free warm-up event exclusively for full-festival ticket holders, held at the legendary Futurum Music Club - the same venue that hosted the iconic second and third editions of Prague Death Mass in 2013 and 2016. Featuring:
TÖRR (performing “Witchhammer” demo exclusively), FÍR (Netherlands), KVR (Germany), SILVA NIGRA (Czechia) and CIEŃ (Poland).
This night serves as a bridge between past and present, invoking the spirit of earlier editions while setting the stage for what is to come.
PLANETARIUM DEATH MASS: Nov 2 at Prague Planetarium (Prague 7)
A Cosmic Finale in Europe's Most Advanced LED Dome
In a fittingly transcendent close, Prague Death Mass V concludes with the Planetarium Death Mass, a highly limited post-festival ritual featuring MYSTICUM and VEMOD, both of Norway’s fame, within the Prague Planetarium - a venue equipped with Europe’s most advanced 8K LED dome system.
This exclusive audiovisual ceremony, limited to only 280 attendees, fuses live performance with cutting-edge immersive visuals, promising a ritualistic experience unlike anything previously witnessed on the continent.
