Recenzja Sandbreaker „Revelations of the Sand”

 Sandbreaker

„Revelations of the Sand”

Free Joy Stereo 2025

Cztery lata minęły bowiem od ostatniego sygnału z ich pustynnego obozu, w postaci EP-ki „Children of the Erg”. (Czytaj dalej...)

Recenzja Messiah Paratroops „Legions Of Tomorrow”

 Messiah Paratroops

„Legions Of Tomorrow”

Inverse Records 2025

(Czytaj dalej...)

CIEŃ kolejnym zespołem na Black Waves #10

Zły wieczór! Ogłoszonko duszpasterskie piąte!
Dzisiaj do menu vol. 10 dodajemy kolejnego przedstawiciela naszej sceny.
Amen

SACRED REICH w czerwcu w Poznaniu

Do 2000 roku grupa wydała 4 albumy - “Ignorance” (1987), “The American Way” (1990), “Independent” (1993) oraz “Heal” (1996), po czym zawiesiła swoją działalność.

Singiel FEVERSEA

Sunkindling: Feversea’s Hymn for a World in Collapse

Man was meant to replace God as the universal measure. The events of the 20th and 21st centuries, however, have brutalized the creature once known as Man beyond recognition. There is no going back. We are left with an erased image, a misnomer—a sacred animal wasting away in a profane world. Man is both insufficient and irreplaceable.

“Man Under Erasure”, the debut album from the Oslo-based band Feversea will be released on May the 23rd, and the first song to be unveiled from the album is “Sunkindling”, out on April the 4th. It can be streamed and downloaded here:

Feversea is a post-metal band from Oslo, Norway drawing on influences from black metal, sludge metal and shoegaze. Their music lies in the intersection where the ferocity of black metal meets with ritualistic and ethereal soundscapes. Musically, their debut album “Man Under Erasure” draws from various forms of metal while incorporating influences from neofolk and post-punk. The album is melancholic, despairing, and cathartic. Haunting and melodic while maintaining a strong sense of structure with recognizable riffs—an element often lacking in atmosphere-driven music.

Fluctuating between song and scream, the voice is both from beyond and from below. Lyrically, it is deeply personal but delivered through impersonal images, parables, and riddles—like a spiritualist or Orphic medium carrying messages from beyond. A muffled scream buried under several inches of ice. The album begins in sardonic despair and ends with uneasy, desperate acceptance.

The band’s lineup of Ada Lønne Emberland on vocals, Isak Lønne Emberland on guitars and synthesizers, Alexander Fossen Lange on guitars, Aleksander Johnsen Solberg on bass guitar and Jeremie Malezieux on drums recorded the album at Evil Octopus Studios with Isak Lønne Emberland as producer, mixer and mastering engineer, with cover and sleeve design by Isak Lønne Emberland. “Man Under Erasure” has the following track list:

Man Under Erasure
Murmur Within the Skull of God
New Creatures Replace Our Names
Decider
Sunkindling
Invocation
Until It Goes Away
Kindred Spirit

Debiut SERPENTES za dwa tygodnie

On April 18th internationally, NoEvDia proudly presents Serpentes' Desert Psalms.

Spewed forth by a collective of serpents from the scorching south and sulphurous north of the Old World, Desert Psalms is an act of defiance – an offering to the lawless, the unruly, and the bright star rising in the eastern dawn.

A descent beyond the pale. Across its seven abominations, Desert Psalms drags the listener into howling darkness, where transgression and purification are one.

This is black metal in its most primal and adversarial form: venomous, unrepentant, seared in the flames of desolation. Both scourge and scripture, Desert Psalms is a baptism in bile and blood, stripping away all pretense until nothing remains but raw nerve and burning truth.

Envisioned by A.Ara of Angrenost, Desert Psalms is now manifested with the contribution of Misþyrming members Dagur Gíslason and Magnús Skúlason, Erdsaf of Angrenost, and Ólöf Rún Benediktsdóttir of Svartþoka.

Full stream to be revealed on the day of release. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

3. III [6:17]

Klip od IMPERISHABLE

Swedish Death Metal masters Imperishable unleashes a new wave of darkness with "Riding Demons"! "Riding Demons" tells the tale of someone who consciously gives in to temptation, lust and sloth, while wallowing in self-pity over the situation inflicted on himself. Musically, the band is treading down a different path this time, maintaining their sound but setting a darker, almost gothic feel. Hail, fires of frustration!

Recenzja Corrupter „Gloria In Profundis”

 Corrupter

„Gloria In Profundis”

Godz ov War 2025

(Czytaj dalej...)

 Insineratehymn

Irreverence Of The Divine

Memento Mori (2025)

(Czytaj dalej...)

Singiel od ENTERRÉ VIVANT

On May 26th internationally, Antiq is proud to present Enterré Vivant's highly anticipated third album, Akuzaï.

Enterré Vivant was born in 2019 around Erroiak (Hrad, Stellar Forest, Outland Hill) and Sakrifiss (Peurbleue). They released their first album in 2021 with compositions that pay homage to their influences: Summoning, Angantyr, Woods of Infinity, Moonsorrow, and Mystic Forest. Two years later, the band joined the Antiq label and released 四元素 (Shigenso), an album on which they asserted their identity, highlighting their ties to Japan, the country where Sakrifiss has lived for over 25 years.

In 2025, Enterré Vivant return with Akuzaï, their third album, that presents itself as a logical continuation of its Antiq predecessor. Akuzaï contains 10 compositions centered around 10 Buddhist sins, all linked to a common theme - the Second World War as experienced by Japanese civilians and victims - making for 50 minutes which are by turns atmospheric, epic, and moving.

Antiq is a label dedicated to the fully coherent concept of making music through sound, image, video, and attitude. They have been putting their entire existence into it since 2009. Over the years, Antiq have been identified as producers of not only perfectly coherent lyrics and themes through music, but also conceptual art and, of course, the manufacturing of beautiful objects. The label tries as much as it can to work with French creators, and if possible, with the smallest and most serious structures.

Debiut IÄTÖN w czerwcu

Today, Signal Rex announces June 6th as the international release date for Iätön's highly anticipated debut album, Portit pohjolan, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Formed in 2022, Iätön initially began as a duo of Woewrb and Penetreichtus I, with the latter having played in Hatespirit and Serpentfyre. Two demos followed, in 2023 and 2024, respectively on the well-respected Altare and Korpituli labels. Even early on, Iätön were defiant of the prevailing Finnish black metal paradigm. With Woewrb's keyboards prominent in both the soundfield and songwriting, the duo's largely mid-paced but still-energetic sound strongly reminded of First Spell-era Gehenna or, closer to home, Behexen's majestic Eternal Realm demo and the likes of Musta Kappeli, Funerary Bell, and Orfvs: rarefied-yet-esteemed company indeed.

Now, Iätön are prepared to stake their claim to be counted among such elite names with their debut full-length, Portit pohjolan. While the approach thankfully hasn't changed here, it's the subtle details as well as the charisma & confidence in which they play that render this Iätön's undoubtedly strongest recording. The cover artwork to Portit pohjolan is evocative of its contents: earthy, verdant, and just a bit icy, beckoning and portending in equal measure. Expanding upon that "largely mid-paced but still-energetic" element, the band's expansion to a quartet has provided quite the boon, filling out their mystical black metal with a hugeness that's somehow intimate simultaneously - perhaps it's those organs / keyboards of Woewrb working some strange, intoxicating magick? - and even when the pace quickens, there's equally a mournful grace to Iätön that didn't exist before. Any way you approach it, Portit pohjolan is truly olde-worlde black metal transported from forgetton realms and glorious times.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Myrskyn laulu" HERE at Signal Rex's official YouTube channel. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Recenzja Slaves of Evil „Certain Death”

 Slaves of Evil

„Certain Death”

Independent 2025

(Czytaj dalej...)
