Nowy album ILLUSION

 

Illusion, the metal band from Barcelona (Spain), released their second album ‘Stages Of Self-Destruction’.

The new LP becomes a leap forward exploring new territories in terms of song-writing and lyrical composition establishing Illusion as a modern Prog Thrash band mixing technical passages with the punch and power of the thrash and punk worlds.

‘SOS’ has been recorded in AXtudio (Barcelona) and mastered by Tony Lindgren in the renowned Fascination Street Studios (Sweden) where bands like Amon Amarth, Testament, Arch Enemy and Kreator recorded some of their best albums.

The artwork comes from the hand of Berlin legendary artist Andreas Marschall who also did the artwork for metal classic albums like Sodom’s ‘Agent Orange’, Kreator’s ‘Coma Of Souls’ and Blind Guardian’s ‘Nightfall In Middle-Earth’ to name a very few. Marschall stated the making of the artwork for this album as “a very creative process. Haven’t seen something like this since the punk era”.

This new record shows a more mature band with an improved sound mixing thrash influences with classical music and prog references like King Crimson and Frank Zappa.

‘Stages Of Self-Destruction’ includes nine tracks full of energy, lyrics about pacifism and anti-war thoughts, inner torments and social injustice, the abuse of humans against nature and a few surprises here and there that will make you come back for more once you hear it!!!
