For
about seventy years, the Vikings assail the coast of the Channel and
the banks of the Seine. Despite their small numbers, these invaders
push the local defense and manage to settle in the region that will
become Normandy, the only sustainable settlement of the Scandinavians in
the kingdom of the Franks. In 911, their chef Rollon became Count of
Rouen ...
SKÁLD is
above all a project matured for several years, led by musicians
passionate about Nordic mythology who are not at their first attempt:
Pierrick Valence (Phazm, Helgisiðir, ex-Agressor), Justine Galmiche (Helgisiðir) and Mattjö Haussy (ex-Madonagun).
The EP will be followed on October 19th by an album (on Decca Records /
Universal Music Publishing France)!
