Ależ piękny prezent do mnie przyszedł tuż przed Sylwestrem. Znalazłem bowiem w skrzynce drugi album szwedzkiego Warhawk, i już po zapoznaniu się z okładką, na której uwagę przykuwa bardzo Motorheadowe logo, wiedziałem, że to będzie dobre. I cieszę się, że po raz kolejny się nie myliłem. A nawet więcej. Oro to dość popularne mydło dezynfekujące z okresu PRL-u. Za czasów socjalizmu wszystkie pryszczole myły tym twarz, w nadziei że trądzik w magiczny sposób zniknie. To także zespół ze Szwecji, który kilka tygodni temu po raz drugi ukazał światu swój duży album. Pierwszego nie słyszałem, więc odnosić się nie będę i przejdę bezpośrednio do zawartości „Vid Vägs Ände”. Panowie grają sludge metal. Italian black metal unit STORMCROW will release their third album, “Path to Ascension”, sometime in 2024 via Time To Kill Records.

The band started out in northen Italy in 1997 and is no secret to genre connoisseurs thanks to a couple of well-received albums and European tours with Dark Funeral, Enthroned, Shining and many more. But now their big moment in the spotlight has come – STORMCROW are ready for the final breakthrough with the new album “Path to Ascension”.

STORMCROW have kept the black flame burning for 20+ years simply out of adoration and their respect for the genre. Undoubtedly they share some of the same DNA of iconic black metal bands that have gone before them, and whilst their technical abilities add a more than impressive flourish, they operate on a ‘don’t overcomplicate for the sake of overcomplicating’ rule. The track is the third to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Sinister Upheaval, set for international release on January 19th, 2024 via Dying Victims Productions. Hailing from Germany, the land ever brimming with ancient thrash metals, Boundless Chaos was begotten in the year of 2017 when M.F., P.K, T.B., and M.J. heaved bloody deathrash straight up from the ashes of hellfire. With a brutal barrage of drums, slashing guitars, and throbbing bass-lines, they unapologetically worship the sound of the old. In 2019, E.M. completed the force. Now whole, Boundless Chaos have been spitting the hellish gospel of chaos, upheaval, fire, and antifascism across an EP in 2020 and then two splits in 2020 – one with Idle Ruin, the second with fellow Germans Reign in Blood.

INQUISITION Official na jedynym koncercie w Polsce! INQUISITION [COL/USA] + DEMONICAL [SE] / JEDYNY KONCERT W POLSCE / RUDE BOY / BIELSKO - BIAŁA Czekaliśmy długo i w końcu się doczekaliśmy. Kultowy kolumbijsko - amerykański duet i niekwestionowani bogowie astralnego black metalu zagrają swój pierwszy od prawie dekady i zarazem jedyny polski koncert w bielskim RUDEBOY CLUB, w sobotę 20 kwietnia 2024. Na scenie wesprze ich tego wieczoru szwedzki Demonical. Inquisition od zawsze był zespołem skrajności: przez jednych znienawidzony, przez innych ubóstwiany. Nie ulega wątpliwości natomiast, że ich riffy, maniera wokalna oraz warstwa liryczna stały się w gatunku black metal czymś absolutnie unikatowym i dotychczas nikomu nie udało się choćby zbliżyć do muzyczno-lirycznego uniwersum Inquisition. Zespół po poprzednim, okrzykniętym majstersztykiem gatunku albumie „Black Mass for a Mass Grave” prawie nie koncertował; wielu zwątpiło już zatem w perspektywę usłyszenia astralnych hymnów Dagona i Incubusa na żywo. Tym bardziej miło nam, że na skraju premiery jego następcy: „Venetration of Medieval Mysticism and Cosmological Violence” (premiera 26 stycznia) mamy zaszczyt zaprosić Was na jedyny polski koncert INQUISITION Official Wieczór otworzy Demonical, kontynuujący od lat ścieżkę kultowego Centinex, a stanowiący esencję szwedzkiego death metalu. Żadnych supportów tego wieczoru nie będzie. Będzie to wieczór krótki i intensywny. Bilety w sprzedaży od 1 stycznia.

Studiowałem kiedyś z gościem, który mnie notorycznie zaskakiwał. Na przykład, słuchaliśmy podobnej muzyki, ale on wielokrotnie twierdził, iż dany album mu się podoba, ale przeszkadza mu wokal. Madrid-based crust punk/black metal unit SVDESTADA have completed work on their third album, “Candela”, now confirmed for January release.

With this mix of ideas and sounds, SVDESTADA prove themselves to be well beyond the stale revivalist trends that often plagues the modern underground. Channeling eclectic influences to create an exciting blend of crust punk and black metal, the band explore new musical ideas while never abandoning the genres’ signature speed and rawness in the process. A constant ebb and flow of blackened and emotional crust punk, with terrifying roars tearing through frenzied and impactful guitar-work.

Born from bitter winters, SVDESTADA siphons aggression and internal growth through searing and metallic, sometimes melodic, unapologetic auditory chaos, and pinpointed lyrical constructs that reflect on abandonment, nostalgia and solitude. The group maintains a bludgeoning heaviness with a poetic weaponry of ferocity and internal strife.

“Candela” will be released on January 5th 2024. CD and LP editions will be available from February 5th, via Long Legs Long Arms Records and Shove Records respectively.
