TORANAGA UK wracają z EP-ką

 

Thirty six years after their debut album, and with two other albums released in 1990 and 2013, UK thrashers Toranaga have returned!

The Classic line up of Toranaga (1988) comprised of the bassist Andy Burton, the drummer Steve Todd, the guitarist Andy Mitchell, and the vocalist Mark Duffy. With their debut album 'Bastard Ballads' released by Peaceville Records, the band made a great impression and strong responses led to extensive gigging across the UK to a growing audience hungry for more of that unique fusion of NWOBHM, lashings of old school Overkill-style Thrash, plenty of Maiden and a dark, doom-like heaviness smacking of Sabbath. Bastard Ballads enjoyed frequent radio play leading to a session on Tommy Vance's Friday Rock Show (BBC Radio 1) and an invitation to open for Manowar on their UK tour.

Since their return, they have played in UK with Onslaught, Riot City, Xentrix and Acid Reign, with more shows and festivals to come. In 2025 they played Helicon Metal Festival in Poland, their first visit to the Eastern Europe.

May 2025 sees Toranaga UK releasing “A New Order” EP, officially opening the new chapter in band’s history. The Shoguns are back for good! Soon they are going to Germany for Headbangers Open Air.
