Recenzja Hekatomb „Apokrypha Archives vol.1 & 2”

 Hekatomb

„Apokrypha Archives vol.1 & 2”

Independent 2026

(Czytaj dalej...)

Nowy SALLOW MOTH w lipcu

Dallas (TX) - Progressive Death Metal duo, Sallow Moth, will release new album, Hydrophilous Brood July 24 on Willowtip Records!

Hydrophilous Brood takes place in Pamugara, a dimensional nest immersed in a lush world where organisms are rematerialized into new hybrid species after passing through a powerful portal, a highly unpredictable artifact known as the ‘Mossbane Lantern’. Each song has a thematic connection to various artifacts on the previous album (Mossbane Lantern), extrapolating the characteristics and aftereffects of those artifacts within this temperamental environment of a planet.

Musically, Sallow Moth goes hand in hand with the aforementioned lyrical themes of transformation in that the continuous evolution of the project has become a signature feature with each album. This album retains a portion of the genre-shifting approach of previous works, but deliberately exhibits more focus on the intersection of technical death metal and brutal death metal, especially with the addition of a highly skilled drummer in Allen Gingerich. Notable influences on Hydrophilous Brood include Mortal Decay, Wormed, Deeds of Flesh, Cephalic Carnage, and Cynic.

"Distended in Panglacial Advent," the album's first single, is available at:

Track Listing:
1. Nebulous Appendages of Vacillant Seafoam
2. Distended in Panglacial Advent
3. Driftmoth Vivisector
4. Biohybrid Virulence
5. Arcane Benthic Umbilicus
6. Polymorphic Gnaw
7. Hydrophilous Brood
8. Serene Aqueous Leech

Recenzja Ysigim „Ain Soph Or”

 Ysigim

„Ain Soph Or”

Black Flame Rebellion 2026 (Re-issue)

(Czytaj dalej...)

Klip od THE ABSOLUTION SEQUENCE

Tasmanian devils THE ABSOLUTION SEQUENCE have posted the video for "Idols of Confraternity," the second single off the band's highly-anticipated full-length album, Dread Cycle.

"'Idols of Confraternity' is focused on our innate ability in putting horrible people on a pedestal," says vocalist Shawn Wells. "These being celebrities, politicians, influencers and leaders of faith. We worship them as deities, follow their trends, watch their every move in the hope that we may find some form of familiarity. All to crumble in the wake of our self-proclaimed 'unique' display of infatuation."

Zapowiedź czwartego krążka LITOSTH

On July 24th internationally, Personal Records is proud to present Litosth's highly anticipated fourth album, Dreaming, on CD format.

Some records arrive as answers. Dreaming is not one of them.

The fourth album from Litosth—the duo formed by multi-instrumentalist Maicon Ristow and lyricist Wendel Siota—offers no comfort, no resolution, no redemption. What it offers is something more disturbing and necessary: the complete architecture of collapse. Eight tracks that do not describe the fall—they are the fall.

If 2024’s Personal-released Cesariana was a cry of revolt against the magic formula for happiness, Dreaming goes deeper—and deeper here is not a metaphor. It is literal. The album descends layer by layer through what remains when everything that was imposed is stripped away: faith, morality, purpose, and the illusion of ascent. What remains is not liberation. It is only ashes, emptiness, and silence.

Sonically, Litosth continue to refuse any label—brutality in dialogue with philosophical density and arrangements that move between the colossal and the surgical. Dreaming carries an even more suffocating cohesion than its predecessors. The eight tracks function as acts of a single ritual of dispossession: "Defy," "Ruin," "Eclipse," "Abyss," "Monolith," "Iconoclast," "Nadir," and "Gólgota" are a map of a collective sentence—one inherent to mankind as a species.

Dreaming is not a record about dreaming. It is about finally ceasing to do so. And it was never just music...

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Gólgota" HERE at Personal Records' Bandcamp. Preorder info can be found HERE. Cover artwork and tracklisting are as follows:

Veil of Fractured Reveries - VIDEO

Today, AOP Records announces July 31st as the international release date for Finsterforst's highly anticipated sixth album, Still.

For more than two decades, Finsterforst have been shaping their own distinctive voice within extreme metal, continuously evolving both musically and lyrically without ever losing their core identity. Their sound merges elements from a wide spectrum of heavy music—from black and folk-inspired roots to epic, atmospheric, and post-metal influences—forming a style they refer to as "Black Forest Metal": a blend that feels both deeply rooted and entirely its own.

Rather than fitting into a single label, Finsterforst's music thrives on contrast and fusion: crushing heaviness meets vast, cinematic atmospheres; raw aggression unfolds into melancholic, emotional depth; and monumental arrangements carry a sense of both intimacy and scale. While often described in broader terms as epic, atmospheric, or post-influenced extreme metal, Finsterforst deliberately transcend genre boundaries.

The result is a sound that is brutally powerful yet richly layered, where sadness, rage, triumph, and grandeur coexist within expansive compositions. Driven by constant progression and a refusal to stand still, Finsterforst continue to refine a vision that is as immersive as it is unmistakable.

The latest proof is Still, the band's first full-length in seven years and sixth overall. The preceding Jenseits mini-album, from 2023, showed Finsterforst at their most ambitious: a nearly 40-minute track broken up into four suites. On the nine-track / 78-minute Still, the Germans return to relatively more approachable song lengths, and the effect is immediate. As powerful and poignant as ever, their characteristic contrasts take their fullest flight yet, laying forth a landscape that's tinged with darkness and dreams, wanderlust and wonder, crystalline coloring and crushing heaviness. Compounding that power & poignancy are frequent excursions into folky, acoustic-led territory, further heightening the drama & dramatics central to their sound. And while their lyrics are largely still in their native tongue, one need not speak German to feel Still in their soul; drink deeply and Finsterforst's elixir is intoxicating, now more than ever. But, those who thrilled to Jenseits will surely want to drown in the 25-minute "Leere" here...and two surprise covers close the album, both done in the band's inimitable fashion.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Stille Nacht" HERE at AOP Records' official YouTube channel. Cover artwork, courtesy of Yaroslav Gerzhedovich, and tracklisting are as follows:

1. Obduktion

SWORN zapowiadają nowy album

Bergen, Norway & Athens, Greece; 20 May 2026: Bergen-based melodic black metal outfit Sworn have announced that their fifth album, “Null Crowned the Infinite”, will be released on 4 September 2026. Pre-orders for the physical versions licensed to The Circle Music are available now.

Three years following the critically acclaimed “A Journey told through Fire” (2023), the new album navigates a sprawling conceptual narrative, tracing the cyclical nature of the cosmos from its initial spark in the void to its inevitable dissolution.

Lyrically, the album explores the terrifying scale of cosmic darkness and the fragility of existence within a primordial emptiness. Sworn investigates the philosophy of becoming and unmaking, where reality and time emerge from nothingness only to eventually collapse back into the same unfathomable origin. Musically, “Null Crowned the Infinite” pushes the boundaries of the band's established sound, balancing their signature melodic tension with newfound levels of aggression and atmospheric depth. The record features "The Starless Origin", a twelve-minute epic that stands as their longest composition to date, alongside "Fracture of Aeons", which the band identifies as their most aggressive track ever recorded.

Sworn collaborated with renowned producer Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, who handled the mixing and mastering. Bogren’s legendary portfolio, featuring giants such as Opeth, Arch Enemy and Behemoth, brings a polished yet devastating edge to the performances of Max Wilson, Christoffer Kjørsvik, Gøran Hope and Tom Ian Klungland. The album artwork is equally striking, created by Pär Olofsson, known for his iconic work with Aborted and Kreator.

While Sworn continues to operate as an independent entity for the recording and production, they have partnered with The Circle Music to handle the physical releases under a special licensing deal. The release includes a Digipak CD alongside two distinct vinyl variants: Marbled Smoke and Marbled Green.

Track list:
1. The Starless Origin
2. Null Crowned the Infinite
3. A Cosmic Storm
4. Fracture of Aeons
5. The Entropic Void
6. Circle of the Eternal

Wznowienie debiutu PYREXIA

"Sermon of Mockery", the landmark debut full-length from PYREXIA, is set to return on June 19th through Time To Kill Records in cooperation with Gravitas Ent. The reissue will be available in CD, LP and MC formats worldwide, excluding the North American market.

Originally released in 1993, "Sermon of Mockery" rapidly established itself as one of the defining statements of early brutal death metal, helping shape the identity of the New York scene through its overwhelming combination of crushing groove, suffocating heaviness and savage rhythmic precision. At a time when death metal was mutating into increasingly extreme forms, PYREXIA forged a sound that was both technically punishing and deeply rooted in raw underground aggression, laying the groundwork for countless bands that followed.

More than three decades later, the album remains a towering monument to brutality, retaining the oppressive atmosphere and relentless intensity that made it an instant cult classic among devotees of the genre. From its asphyxiating riffs to its unmistakable rhythmic swing, "Sermon of Mockery" still embodies the essence of uncompromising East Coast death metal in its purest form.

This new edition pays tribute to one of the genre’s most influential and enduring releases, bringing a timeless extreme metal classic back into circulation for longtime followers and new generations alike.

A new lyric video for the title-track is available HERE.

Tracklist:
1. Sermon of Mockery
2. Resurrection
3. Abominat
4. The Uncreation
5. God
6. Demigod
7. Inhumanity
8. Liturgy of Impurity

This album didn’t stand a chance with me in the beginning. Because, first of all, I can’t stand vampire themes. Nowy kawałek CHAMBER OF UNLIGHT

Today, Finnish black metalers Chamber of Unlight reveal the new tracks "The Dagger" and "Night Chasm." Both are the first to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated second album, Avernus, which will be released imminently by Werewolf Records. Hear Chamber of Unlight's "The Dagger" HERE and "Night Chasm" HERE, both at Werewolf's official YouTube channel.

Formed in 2016, Chamber of Unlight began as the solo work of multi-instrumentalist Necrosis. The man stands as a prolific veteran of Finland's esteemed extreme metal landscape; during the past 25-plus years, his credits include Deathchain, Ajattara, Shade Empire, and Trollheims Grott. In 2021, the band released their momentous debut album, Realm of the Night. Here, Necrosis was joined by drummer LRH - himself an equally prolific Finnish veteran whose credits likewise include Deathchain and Trollheims Grott but also Horna, Bythos, Forgotten Horror, Striges, and Black Death Ritual among others - and erstwhile Deathchain guitarist Leper. Together, the trio conjured the eldritch essence of '90s Finnish black metal in a manner both reverential and refreshing, distilling the essence of the ancients with a palatable air of modernity. Following its release, a live lineup was instituted with the addition of bassist VnoM, guitarist Infection, and keyboardist Spellgoth, which thusly made their membership a veritable goldmine of Finnish underground metal excellence.

Now arrives Chamber of Unlight's first work with that six-headed lineup, Avernus. Thankfully, no great changes have been made in the band's regal attack here, but their power and professionalism have been amplified to a sterling degree. With Spellgoth's mesmerizing synths pushed to the fore, the grime of yore has yielded to a gleam that's equal parts ice palace, cosmic vortex, and magickal realm. That the riffing continually crests, with one haunting riff doled out after another and nightsky leads evoking wonder and wanderlust, further suggests magickal workings within Chamber of Unlight's still-expanding world. The cauldron truly bubbles over and its astral mists swirl with Avernus' utterly majestic production: tangibly physical, most definitely organic, but polished to a grand & diabolical shine that's blinding to those with eyes to see. And if those eyes are indeed open, the thoughts that Realm of the Night evoked - that such an attack (regally) recalls lost classics of the late '90s, particularly those released by Necropolis Records or No Fashion - absolutely spill over across this album's deceptively epic 36 minutes. The past isn't alive because it never died...the secrets to those mysteries reside within Chamber of Unlight.

RUYNED wracają z nowym albumem

Today, Osmose Productions announces June 26th as the release date for Ruyned's highly anticipated second album, Profanum Sacrificium, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Forged in the underground of Romania, Ruyned unleash their most ferocious and unrelenting material, Profanum Sacrificium, a blasphemous speed metal assault infused with elements of black, thrash, and heavy metal.

The intro sets the calm before the storm. From the ripping assault of "Speedchain" to the depraved madness of "Sex'N Speed" and "Sex Commander 666," going through the sinister tale of "Vampire of Düsseldorf inspired by Peter Kürten, Ruyned channel raw violence and decadence in its purest form. From "Daemonium Ritualis" onward, the record descends into a dark conceptual journey through the European witch hunts of the 15th–17th centuries. Through "Profanum Sacrificium," "Malleus Maleficarum," and "Witches Gallöw," the band conjures a world of fire, mysticism, and ritual death. The closing outro retells this tale as a melody sung by a bard at a royal banquet.

Fast. Raw. Rabid. Merciless. Total speed metal violence.

Nowy numer BLACK DEATH

Today, Cleveland metal legends Black Death reveal the new track "THC." The track is the first to be revealed from the band's long-awaited second album, Breaking the Chains of Hell, which will see release later this year via Hells Headbangers. Hear Black Death's "THC" in its entirety HERE at Hells Headbangers' official YouTube channel.

Originally formed in 1977, Cleveland's Black Death are largely known as the very first all-African-American heavy metal band. After a trio of demos in the early '80s, the band released their self-titled debut album in 1984. A crucial piece in the rich history of Cleveland heavy metal, Black Death became a cult classic of raw 'n' wild HEAVY fucking METAL with a thirst for the epic and dramatic. Imagine Judas Priest's Sad Wings of Destiny boosted with an OTT meanness or if Cirith Ungol were punks but indulged their Thin Lizzy tendencies more: truly, an awesome and awe-inspiring statement. That they'd break up four years later and never put out another record made Black Death all the more singular. Hells Headbangers, with the help of Auburn Records owner Bill Peters, would make Black Death widely available again in 2017, reissuing not only the vinyl version (plus bonus 7") but also CD and cassette versions for the first time ever.

Renewing their blood pact, Black Death return to Hells Headbangers for the LONG-awaited release of their second album, Breaking the Chains of Hell. Led as always by eccentric genius / wildman Siki Spacek on lead vocals and guitar, Breaking the Chains of Hell sonically hearkens to the band's original era, before their years as Black Death Resurrected in 2014, and thus shows a suitably vintage balance between the barbaric and the virtuostic, stomping headbangers and chugging strutters, smooth-as-silk class and demonic abandon.

As Siki explains, "What was originally going to be the second Black Death record after our first record has now become the fifth record released by Black Death. It would have been the fourth Black Death record, but there was an unreleased Black Death record that I recorded with Corey Bing and Bahb Branca from Fistula, who had become the members of Black Death during the 2020 quarantine era. That is called The Chamber of Three, my brief foray into playing Black Death as a three-piece band, exploring a Jimi Hendrix / Uli Jon Roth type of heavy metal style..."

As expected, Breaking the Chains of Hell is heavy and swaggering in equal measure, at times exuding a greasy muscularity like prime Motörhead while, at others, heightening the drama in a darker manner. That Black Death somehow sound simultaneously old and new - or, rather, classic and contemporary - is some strange magick known only to Siki and crew. Any way you approach Breaking the Chains of Hell, it's 46 minutes of heavy metal mayhem bound to break barriers and unite the hordes under the banner of pure American steel.

"It's time to play this long-awaited morsel of heavy metal madness and prophecy," Siki concludes. "So kick back and lock your doors, and not only kick your parents out, but your kids and grandkids, as well!"

Release date, tracklisting, cover artwork, and preorder info to be announced shortly.
