Neithan, człowiek orkiestra, odpowiedzialny między innymi za takie twory jak Whalesong, Nothing Has Changed, Useless, czy ostatnio przedstawiany tu przeze mnie Lifeless Gaze, nie raczył nas swoimi projektami przez dobrych kilka lat. Najwyraźniej się przebudził, bo po wspomnianym „Death” serwuje kolejny, debiutancki album nowego projektu o nazwie One Must Forget. Powertrio obozujące dorywczo w stolicy zakończyło prace nad pełniakiem, noszącym wsobny tytuł "To mój Black". Wielki Mrok zapadnie jesienią, wydawca jest jak ojciec, czasem - nieznany. Zespół obrazuje za to szanownej publiczności utwór "Święto Wiosny", znany już tej jej części, która bywa na występach zespołu.

Na płytę składa się siedem kawałków, które zostały zarejestrowane na setę w LWW Studio przy ulicy Kolejowej w Warszawie, pod okiem Julka Boguszewskiego i Majka Sikory. Zespół udokumentował te kompozycje w składzie: Ćwiara - gitara basowa, Czacha - perkusja oraz Szrama - gitara i Wokal. Miks powstał w Bestial Sound Studio.

Nowy AD FINEM OMNIA w lipcu

 

Today, Purity Through Fire announces July 6th as the international release date for Ad Finem Omnia's highly anticipated second album, Senectus Viae, on digipack CD format.

In 2022, Ad Finem Omnia released their debut album, No Peace - No Dawn, under the banner of Purity Through Fire. Despite their seeming newness, the Chilean duo concurrently played in Sol Sistere and did time in such other bands as Animus Mortis and Totten Korps among others, but their aesthetic as Ad Finem Omnia is devoted to melodic-yet-melancholic black metal steeped in timeless '90s classicism. And indeed, No Peace - No Dawn soon became a quiet classic of "old souls" black metal: no rawness, no chaos, no depression.

In the interim, Ricardo Araya left, leaving the helm solely to Pablo Vera. Thankfully, Ad Finem Omnia's approach remains consistent on their second full-length, Senectus Viae. Once again, emphasis is placed on poignant, thoughtful songwriting that's equal parts hook and atmosphere, passion and performance. Their surge still sparkles, but there's perhaps a slight bit more roughness on Senectus Viae that suggests bloodied triumph rather than steely austerity. But, just like that splendorous debut, Ad Finem Omnia here once again evoke both northern and southern climes in their strident black metal, deepening that depth of character that further puts both band and record in rarefied territory. Past is likewise brought into present with Araya handling mixing & mastering on Senectus Viae. With a racing-yet-ebullient instrumental to close the album, Ad Finem Omnia reaffirm their status as black metal's vanguard of classy modernity meeting ancient authenticity.

On June 26th internationally, NoEvDia and Oration Records will release Vafurlogi's highly anticipated second album, Gneisti af eldi Guðs.

Vafurlogi returns with Gneisti af eldi Guðs, the band’s second full-length. While the debut, Í vökulli áþján, emerged from a short frenzy of inspiration, Gneisti af eldi Guðs reaches further back into the project’s genesis. The album gathers compositions dating as far back as 2007: dormant works left to smolder, mutate, and take their final shape over the years, painstakingly crafted into a sophisticated work of majestically melodic black metal.

What emerges is the true soul of Vafurlogi – a record charged with the fervor of bygone eras while retaining a force far beyond nostalgia. By turns darkly sinister and soaring into celestial reaches, the album remains evocative and lyrical throughout. Drawing from the melodic black metal of the 1990s, as well as the renewed zeal of the orthodox movement that followed, Gneisti af eldi Guðs channels this lineage into a work of grand, engulfing atmosphere and triumphant immediacy.

Thematically, the album upholds Vafurlogi’s core tenet of exploring man’s relationship with the sacred in an existential sense, an ode to the elusive flickering flame that illuminates and eviscerates. The chiaroscuro cover artwork by Void Revelations and Heresie Studio reflects this thematic and musical interplay between darkness and light, that which is hidden and that which is revealed.

Recorded with Stephen Lockhart at Studio Emissary, Gneisti af eldi Guðs bears the conviction of music that has survived its own long incubation. Its production, rich in spirit yet devoid of excess, grants the songs the space to burn with both clarity and ancient force. Hydrophilous Brood takes place in Pamugara, a dimensional nest immersed in a lush world where organisms are rematerialized into new hybrid species after passing through a powerful portal, a highly unpredictable artifact known as the ‘Mossbane Lantern’. Each song has a thematic connection to various artifacts on the previous album (Mossbane Lantern), extrapolating the characteristics and aftereffects of those artifacts within this temperamental environment of a planet.

On this new album, Azels Mountain continues its descent into darker and more reflective territories, channelling themes of memory, blood, sacrifice and transcendence through a colder, more expansive musical expression shaped by both mystic reflection and the lingering shadows of more recent historical experience.

Compared to previous releases, “Echa Krwi” is a more mature and culturally rooted vision. Beyond the foundations of underground black metal, the album draws inspiration from classical Polish music, literature and the spiritual atmosphere woven through the nation’s artistic heritage. Echoes of melancholy, longing, pride, and existential struggle permeate the compositions, giving the record a distinctly Polish character. The result is an album that channels the spirit of forgotten landscapes, ancestral memory, and the restless soul embedded within Polish culture itself, transforming “Echa Krwi” into something both deeply personal and timeless.

Sirkis completed the artwork for the new album, while Zaćma Visual Studio handled photography. Renowned designer Christophe Szpajdel crafted the band’s refreshed logo. On the production front, the material was recorded at M23 Studio, with mixing and mastering duties executed by Satanic Audio.

Newcastle, UK; 16 June 2026: Reaper Agency UK and the organisers behind Fortress Festival have unveiled the full line-up and day splits for Tynebound, the brand-new event taking place at Anarchy Brew Co. in Newcastle on 5-6 September 2026. Following a massive response from fans, ticket sales have rapidly surpassed 60% capacity, and a full house is expected.

Headlining the two-day gathering are Moonlight Sorcery and Inferno, both performing special 2026 UK exclusive sets. Czech avant-black metal voyagers Inferno will use the appearance to unveil the worldwide live premiere of their new stage show, designed in support of their upcoming studio release, “The Anthropic Sophisms”.

Adjustments to the 2026 schedule have also allowed the festival to secure a rare performance from Quebec’s Conifère, who are being flown into the UK specifically for Tynebound. They will be joined on the billing by atmospheric black metal project Vespéral, giving attendees a second opportunity to catch the band following their acclaimed set at Fortress Festival earlier this year.

The rest of the line-up features a diverse selection of regional and international extreme metal talent. Ireland’s Coscradh will fly over to deliver their crushing blackened death metal, alongside performances from Lychgate, Blood Countess and Vacivus. The Infernal Sea are set to perform their sophomore record, “The Great Mortality”, in its entirety for its 10th anniversary. The bill is completed by long-awaited returns from Cnoc An Tursa, the mysterious Aristarchos and The Sun's Journey Through The Night, alongside the first-ever live performance from Magnetar.

To mark the occasion, Anarchy Brew Co. will be serving a curated range of their core beers and limited and exclusive brews - including the new Fortress IPA beer - created specifically for Fortress Festival and styles designed to complement the night: dark, bitter, strong and unapologetic.

Ukazał się debiut THY KILLING HAND

 

On June 12th, EAL Productions released Thy Killing Hand's highly anticipated debut album, Infernal Commands.

Thy Killing Hand, a faceless Polish duo, wields black metal stripped to bone and rust. Their debut full-length, Infernal Commands, follows two tape-borne warnings – Scarlet Ceremonies (2023) and Ixaxar (2024) – and distils those impulses into a heavier, more oppressive form.

The album moves at a stalking pace: dirge-like, mid-tempo malice driven by reaper-sharp guitars, punishing drums, and basslines that sear through the mix like molten ore. Synths drift as funeral vapor; choral howls rise from below. All of it carries the foul breath of dungeon air and the conviction of nonconformists operating beyond any scene or expectation.

No adornment, no polish – only the stench of mold and a curse older than time. This is an invocation of dormant Evil: freshly forged, yet ancient in spirit. Hints of Necromantia, Beherit, and Master’s Hammer flicker through the gloom, but the voice here is unmistakably their own. A debut meant not to entertain, but to contaminate.
