Recenzja Hoc Est Bellum „Filth Majesty”

 Hoc Est Bellum

„Filth Majesty”

Time To Kill 2026

Hoc Est Bellum (po naszemu “Tera je wojna”), to nowy narybek włoskiej Time To Kill.

(Czytaj dalej...)

Nowy kawałek od ASTRIFEROUS

Today, Costa Rican death metallers Astriferous premiere the new track "Dissolution of Eternity" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated second album, Atavistic Unraveling, set for international release on June 26th via Me Saco Un Ojo Records on vinyl LP format; Pulverised will be handling the CD version. Hear Astriferous' "Dissolution of Eternity" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Continuing the primordial descent that kicked off in earnest with their 2023 debut album, Pulsations From the Black Orb, Astriferous return with their second full-length, Atavistic Unraveling. Much like that celebrated debut, the Costa Ricans' sophomore album is perfectly titled: truly, the sensations one finds spread across this dread landscape are an Atavistic Unraveling. Thankfully, Astriferous' foundation has changed little - the swarming morbidity of early '90s Finnish death metal fused with classic South American madness - but there are (dread) developments that prove the band are just now hitting their stride.

Despite its title, Atavistic Unraveling shows Astriferous at their tightest and sharpest, with chops and execution meeting at a nexus of impossibly horrific proportions. Duly armed, the quartet take their songwriting to strange, skronking lengths, rendering their angularity both an unsettling and utterly attacking thing. Likewise, the slight cleaning-up of production has paid dividends, allowing these malformed ruminations to fully seep into the listener's psyche - mangling the mind, wracking the body - whilst emerging with just enough linear propulsion to land the record on the right side of art rather than riff salad.

Collectively, these changes have made Astriferous even more world-eating than before, further cementing their homeland's death metal scene as one of the most potent around. Atavistic Unraveling awaits those who dare...

Box DISSECTION w sierpniu

Today, Darkness Shall Rise Productions announces August 13th as the international release date for a massive boxset of Dissection's third and final album, Reinkaos, on 6-CD and 7-LP vinyl formats. To celebrate the 20th anniversary since its original release, the album will also be available on brand-new standalone CD, vinyl, and cassette tape versions.

Vedar-Gal Tiekals Somdus Azerate!
Eleven to kill the Ten!

Originally released on Walpurgis Night in 2006, Dissection's third and concluding opus marks the seminal Swedish band’s crowning achievement.

Everything about Reinkaos feels grandiose, otherworldly, and utterly complete: the timeless, majestic music blended with lyrics pertaining to the Anti-Cosmic Current and stunning illustrations provided by the late Timo Ketola together form a black diamond of exceptional elegance and vigor.

Unlike the vast majority of bands which merely adopt the symbolism and imagery of Satanism for entertainment purposes, Reinkaos represents the real deal and is an enduring testimony of genuine Luciferian spirituality manifested as music. The 11 tracks comprising Reinkaos truly are Sonic Invocations to the Endless Dark Aeon!

Hail the dark legacy of Jon Nödtveidt!
Hail the Glorious End!

This 20th anniversary version of Reinkaos will be available on three standalone formats: vinyl LP version including 24-page booklet, with 1000 copies on black and 1000 on white; CD in jewel case, including slipcase; and cassette tape, available for the first time on this format since its release.

The boxset versions will include the following recordings:
1. Reinkaos (album)
2. Reinkaos Instrumental Rehearsal
3. Midsummer Massacre Rehearsal (2LP, last Dissection rehearsal ever)
4. The Hall Recordings
5. Maha Kali
6. Roughmix 2005/Starless Aeon

Nowy CEREMONIAL WORSHIP końcem lipca

Today, Eternal Death announces July 31st as the international release date for Ceremonial Worship's highly anticipated third album, Between Sleep and Death, on CD format.

Hailing from Hellas itself, Ceremonial Worship formed in 2016 as the singular creation of High Priest C.W. A couple EPs followed during the band's first few years of existence, but in 2021, Ceremonial Worship delivered its first recording under the banner of Eternal Death with a split tape with Filipino comrades Omenfilth, jointly titled The Pact of Morbid Conspiracy.

While the band's first full-length came at the beginning of 2022, titled Ode to Dionyssus but in a very limited edition, the subsequent Seven Gateways to Eternal Misanthropy later that year was regarded as Ceremonial Worship's true debut album. Again released by Eternal Death, that record saw the band moving away from classic-styled Hellenic black metal toward something more abstract. Weird & wild riffing colliding with suitably anguished vocals, the pulse both distant and forceful, and the sum effect most definitely disturbing: Seven Gateways to Eternal Misanthropy was truly titled.

In 2025, Ceremonial Worship were reborn stronger than ever - dark, unholy, with the sole purpose of delivering chaos! The Whisperer of Night, who performed vocals on 2018's Esoteron EP, returned sharper than ever. Two new members also joined: Petros P. invoking demons on bass, and George K. bombarding on drums. High Priest C.W. remains on guitars, unleashing the darkness in all its glory.

The result: Between Sleep and Death. Still proudly Hellenic, Ceremonial Worship's third album likewise harkens to ancient times, but instead of the "Big Three" of Greek black metal (Rotting Christ, Varathron, Necromantia), there's overt tinges of Hellenic BM's second wave, such as early Kawir, Legion of Doom, Nocternity, or even mid-period Nightfall. However, the quartet's personality and identity come through with full fucking force here; that they combine so compellingly the respectively unique pulses of the two waves is what invites such references, coupled with an almost martial execution and a regal-yet-rowdy production. Atmosphere and aggression thus devour each other like the Ouroboros, and wanderlust is invoked across eight strident & succinct hymns, altogether making for an honorable new era for Ceremonial Worship. The dragon has awakened!
