Recenzja Regent Death “Hermetic Vibrations of the Cosmos”

 Regent Death

“Hermetic Vibrations of the Cosmos”

Mara Prod. 2026

Pod nowym szyldem panowie zarejestrowali uprzednio pięciootworową EP-kę, by teraz uderzyć pełnowymiarowym debiutem. (Czytaj dalej...)

(Czytaj dalej...)

CRITICAL DEFIANCE zapowiadają czwarty album

On September 25th internationally, Dying Victims Productions will release Critical Defiance's highly anticipated fourth album, Rivers of Blood, on vinyl LP and CD formats. And today, Deaf Forever magazine's website premieres the new track "Dead Tongues." Hear Critical Defiance's "Dead Tongues" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Formed in 2010, Chile’s Critical Defiance have become a dependably hateful thrash metal force. Built on speed, aggression, and technical precision, the band channel the violent spirit of old-school thrash metal through sharp riffing, restless structures, and a raw South American intensity. To date, their three albums – 2019’s Misconception, 2022’s No Life Forms, and 2024’s The Search Won’t Fall – have cemented the Valparaíso natives’ place in the underground.

Now, Critical Defiance come storming out of the underground and return with their fourth full-length, Rivers of Blood. Compact, direct, and destructive, the eight-song / 32-minute album displays the band at their most focused, combining fast thrash metal violence with darker atmospheres, instrumental tension and a stronger sense of dramatic progression. All of this is heightened by Sebastián Palominos’ clear & cutting production, which thankfully also retains an organic immediacy.

Central to the success of Rivers of Blood is its sequencing. “Red Omen” works as an ominous opening; “Innate to Kill” starts the first attack; “The Feeling Destroyer” showcases Critical Defiance’s technique and compositional work; and “Rivers of Blood” lands with a slower form of thrash metal and liberating lyrics. “Valparaíso” opens Side B as the longest and most distinctive piece on the record, connecting the band’s violence with the blood, memory, and decay of their own city. The second half of the album then moves from the intensity and darkness of “Dead Tongues” into the short instrumental passage “Ceremony of the Final Call,” before closing with “Glorify War,” a direct final attack that reinforces the tone of Rivers of Blood: violent, hateful, and destructive.

Rivers of Blood is not a nostalgic revival record. It is Critical Defiance sharpening their own language: violent, fast, hateful, dark, and restless thrash metal from the Chilean underground.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Dead Tongues" exclusively HERE, courtesy of Deaf Forever, Germany's defenders of the true. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

1. Red Omen
2. Innate To Kill

Nowy MIASMES we wrześniu

MIASMES
"Violence, Blasphème et Pourriture"
Septembre 18 2026

MIASMES is a black metal band formed in 2021, bringing together three musicians with diverse backgrounds: G. (bass/vocals, ex-Ritualization, Antaeus live, ex-Seth live), K. (guitar, ex-Como Muertos), and C. (drums).

From the very start, the trio established an uncompromising approach, blending old-school black metal with punk energy and rock’n’roll structures, striking a balance between chaos and impact. Singing exclusively in French, Miasmes crafts a dark, visceral universe centered on decay, apostasy, and inner violence.

After their first demo "Vermines" (2021), recorded live to capture its full brutality, and a debut album released in 2023 praised for its authenticity, the band takes things further with "Violence, Blasphème et Pourriture".

More direct, more aggressive, and deeply shaped by punk/crust influences, this second album represents a shift toward sharper songwriting and heightened intensity. Recorded independently to preserve its raw character, then mastered at BST Studio, it makes a clear statement: focus on the essence — no filters, no frills.

With this record, Miasmes solidifies its identity: instinctive, abrasive black metal deeply rooted in the underground, where spontaneity and violence prevail over any form of compromise.

Blood Harvest 2026

Jak kapela nazywa się Tombal, a ich EP-ka nosi tytuł “Grave of the Damned”, to co może grać? No przecież, że to pytanie retoryczne. Choć pewnie Baldrick odpowiedziałby „Nie, to death metal”. I też miałby rację. Debiut BLOODMOTHER pod koniec września

Finnish black metallers BLOODMOTHER will release their debut album “Militant Black Magic” on September 25th, 2026, via Time To Kill Records.

A sharp and uncompromising record, it refuses shortcuts and avoids hiding behind pretentious structures or overly foggy atmospheric detours. Instead, it focuses on pure impact and precision, built entirely on riffs that cut deep and leave no room for distraction. The album stands as a severe statement of intent, stripping everything back to its essential violence and clarity, delivering a sound that is direct, punishing and relentlessly focused on damage rather than ornament.

The first single "Liturgical Decay" is available now:

3. Stella Invictus
4. Traitor’s Tongue

 Witching Hour

“Past Midnight”

Dying Victims Prod. 2026

This is already the fourth album by this German trio, which traces its origins back to the year two thousand and six. At least physically, because mentally, these guys are still stuck in the ’80s. I don’t know, maybe they travelled to our times in some kind of time machine, or, like Godfryd Amaury de Malfête and his squire, they drank a magic potion, because neither their appearance nor the music they create fits in with the present day at all. (Continue reading)

Debiut TRENCHWAR we wrześniu

TRENCHWAR will release their debut album “Overlords of Cold” on September 18th, 2026 via Time To Kill Records.

Emerging as a unholy convergence of seasoned figures from the Dutch metal and hardcore underground, the band distills decades of experience into a sound that is both ferocious and deeply atmospheric. Their music merges crushing, slow-burning heaviness with raw hardcore urgency, shaped by a collective vision that pushes beyond individual backgrounds into something colder, darker, and more unified.

The album captures this evolution in full force, delivering a punishing listening experience where brutality and bleak introspection collide without compromise or restraint.

The first single "Black Heart" is streaming now:

Blending the ferocious urgency of Nails and Integrity with the oppressive weight of Crowbar and Eyehategod, the song shifts between explosive aggression, groove-laden riffs and suffocating heaviness. Built around themes of inner darkness, destruction and devotion to death, "Black Heart" channels raw hostility through downtuned guitars, relentless rhythms and a bleak atmosphere that lingers long after the final note.

Tracklist:
1. Somp Stomp
2. Black Heart
3. Overlords of Cold
4. Dust is Dust Again
5. Solace in Sulfur
6. Dread of Death
7. Funeral Hymn
8. Het Stof Daalt
9. The Center of Infinity

Numer z nowego HANTERNOZ

On August 7th internationally, Antiq is proud to present Hanternoz's highly anticipated third album, A Hed an Noz, a Noz, a Noz.

This album presents you six songs in the form of six devils of the common Breton folklore: a fairy, a lavad (a night fairy very dangerous), a devil, a corpse, a sort of fiery elf, and the spirit of the woods. Each of the six monsters takes the shape of BOTH a historical fact and a childhood memory to haunt back the storyteller. Of course, all this takes shape at night; that's why songs bear the name of a night moment. Through this crazy night of non-sleep, the demons take many shapes: sadness, amusement, hope, dispair, depression, joy, anger, and so on.

The album cover represents the one character that is never quoted but omnipresent here: an Ankou. Ankou is a scythe-living dead, representing Death itself. Ankou is interesting because the root of the word is Anken (fear) and rooted in German languag : Angst, Anguish, Angoisse. In fact, Ankou is the fear of Death itself and Death at the same time. On the cover art, you may want to watch the man guiding Ankou: a man whose regrets are especially live. This is why he is doomed into a non-life / non-death experience: leading the cart of Ankou. The weather represents a sunset, as they are scarce in Bretagne, but as can sometimes with luck be seen. As the sun is going down, the light of the carriage of the dead goes lit and the poor doomed man leads the ross and the Ankou onto the path to dying men. But as every battle should carry a tiny light of hope, there is in the background a warm house, with an oak and a swing.

Antiq is a label dedicated to the fully coherent concept of making music through sound, image, video, and attitude. They have been putting their entire existence into it since 2009. Over the years, Antiq have been identified as producers of not only perfectly coherent lyrics and themes through music, but also conceptual art and, of course, the manufacturing of beautiful objects. The label tries as much as it can to work with French creators, and if possible, with the smallest and most serious structures.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Jean-du-Feu" HERE at Antiq's official YouTube channel. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Drugi album FILTH we wrześniu

On September 11th internationally, Me Saco Un Ojo Records and Rotted are proud to present the highly anticipated second album of Sweden's Filth, Death Exhibition. Me Saco Un Ojo will release the album in Europe on CD and vinyl LP formats, while Rotted Life will release it in the United States on CD and cassette tape formats.

Sweden's Filth have a knack for fitting album covers. The one to last year's celebrated Time to Rot debut album captured its psychedically putrid contents perfectly, and so does the cover to their sophomore full-length, Death Exhibition. Whereas that no-less-weighty debut LP proved Filth were true contenders to old-school death metal barbarity thawed in the present, Death Exhibition sees the power-trio sounding both more finessed and more barbaric. The formula has hardly changed, thankfully, but the foundations of their sound are expanded further here; whether it's the crude, tank-rolling crush of Grave's first two albums (including the dips into doomier territory on You'll Never See...) or the sooty angularity of Immolation's first two (the birth of the "backwards riff" sequence in DM), Filth go the distance in punishing the body and tormenting the mind on Death Exhibition.

Most poignant case in point: the dank crypt of instrumental "...Inhumed...," where flanged-out bass begins the plummet to unfathomable depths, establishing both atmosphere and physical presence of a most intimidating nature, and then carried to its conclusion in companion instrumental "...Exhumed...," where the chasm to (and from) that crypt becomes a hypnotically haunting trudge. Who else is doing such exemplary work with death metal instrumentals?

Naturally, other similarly old-school influences can be spotted - Demilich, Autopsy, Incantation, Finland's Abhorrence - but rest assured that Filth inject their own personality (and just a slight bit of weirdness) into the bubbling cauldron to remain authentic rather than ripping off someone else's past. Add in humid, wholly analog production and you truly have a Death Exhibition worth reckoning.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Mental Butchery" HERE at Me Saco Un Ojo's Bandcamp. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Tracklisting for Filth (Sweden)'s Death Exhibition

Klip od INFERNO

"The Anthropic Sophisms", the electrifying upcoming 9th full-length from Czech Black Metal pioneers INFERNO, is

layered and compelling extreme music that breathes anew in nighttime hours. These are strange, viscous dimensions where deep space Black Metal, Industrial brutalism, malevolent motorik rhythms, crackling electronics and obscure vocals collide.

Faithful to the album aesthetics, the band now unveils an interdimensional epic as a visual counterpart to its third track: 'With Raving Mouths They Utter Things Mirthless, Unadorned and Unperfumed'.

Watch here:

"The Anthropic Sophisms" will be released on CD, vinyl and digital on July 17th. A specially designed t-shirt and zip-hoodie accompanies the release. Pre-orders are possible via DMP's EU, US and Bandcamp shops.

The new video from Tasmanian death metal devils THE ABSOLUTION SEQUENCE is now streaming. "The Nightlight Sigil" is the third single off the band's highly-anticipated full-length album, Dread Cycle.

Vocalist Shawn Wells calls the song the most personal track on Dread Cycle. "The Nightlight Sigil is a tale of family trauma, toxic home environments and the way in which one is treated in the aftermath. Often those who have suffered the most where they are meant to feel protected are shamed and forgotten. The aim of this is to keep the conversation alive, and begin to heal these deep wounds."

Nowy DEMONIC MANIFESTATION we wrześniu

On September 4th internationally, Personal Records is proud to present Demonic Manifestation's highly anticipated third album, Grimshrine, on CD format.

Demonic Manifestation are a Mexican death metal band from Colima, formed in 2012 after years of different parallel projects among its members. Driven by a passion for extreme, pure, and honest music, the band found their identity through the influence of the classic Swedish death metal scene and the raw essence of the '90s underground sound.

Inspired by such legendary acts as Dismember, Grave, Entombed, Unleashed, Pestilence, and Crematory, Demonic Manifestation developed a sound rooted in old-school death metal while embracing darker and more decadent atmospheres. Two full-lengths resulted - 2015's World of Horror and 2017's Necrokult - which saw the band blend chaos, horror, and aggression with a strong commitment to authenticity over technical excess. Death metal by maniacs, for maniacs: Demonic Manifestation were truly the real deal.

However, recordings from the band have been sparse this decade; their last-released songs were on a six-way split from 2020. Nevertheless, Demonic Manifestation remained active within the underground and, at long last, are prepared to renew their raw and macabre vision of death metal with Grimshrine. Featuring a new power-trio lineup, Grimshrine absolutely EXPLODES with the dark, melodic magick of early Swedeath. No more but definitely no less, Demonic Manifestation craft death metal of this style with the authenticity, class, and POWER of true disciples - and true masters. Blink and you might think that Grimshrine was a lost relic of 1992, so stout its ancient spell.

Why reinvent the wheel when you can simply CRUSH it? Demonic Manifestation keep it rolling with Grimshrine!

Nowy numer od HORRIFIER

Today, Norwegian death metallers Horrifier premiere the new track "Body Hoarder" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track is the third to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated second album, Revelations of Gore, set for international release on August 7th via Personal Records. Singiel od TORPOR

Today, Polish ancient metallers Torpor premiere the new track "Ɖungeon Ɖwellers" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Ɖungeon Ɖescent, set for international release on July 24th via Dying Victims Productions. Hear Torpor’s "Ɖungeon Ɖwellers" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Torpor were formed in Warsaw by three school friends and music fans under the huge influence of Bathory. While recording their first release, Burning Realms / Behold the Spell of Black Fortress, at the dusk of 2018, the band were laying their music foundations inspired by the epic side of black and the haunted / melancholic side of early ‘80s heavy metal.

Since their last release – 2021’s The Ancient Tales EP, which was actually recorded in 2019 – Torpor parted ways with their drummer, who alongside Mike Magister I.V. and Franciszek Archont, was a founding member of the trio. Upon the arrival of a new drummer and long-time friend, Bloodhammer, they recorded their debut album. It marks the result of their work and path undertaken.

"We knew it was our direction to follow and polish, so now, after some time, we can happily present our debut album, Ɖungeon Ɖescent,” the band state. “It is our first real record that pictures our vision exactly how we liked to. After years of wandering around basement rehearsal rooms and two self-released demos, we are finally coming out of our lairs with this LP under the banners of Dying Victims."

Their past connections with fellow labelmates Armagh and Fukkin' Vengeance somewhat explains Torpor’s link to the idiosyncratic side of ancient heavy metal, which has taken far more prominence on Ɖungeon Ɖescent over the first-wave black metal side – but that’s only part of the picture. Some might call it “cleaning up,” others might liken it to a harnessing of feral energies, but Torpor’s emphatic-yet-stoic strut conveys equal amounts of energy and mystery, finesse and fine-tuning. Of course, the power-trio can kick into high gear when they want to, be it heroic gallop or even hypnotic blast, but their sense of movement from one moody segment to the next imparts a narrative flow that’s part and parcel of their lyrical imagery. Or, perhaps it’s true swords & sorcery metal without belaboring the point – no “COOL IMAGERY DUDE” without the music & atmosphere to back it up, more specifically – that harkens to a glorious, sadly bygone era.

However you approach this Ɖungeon Ɖescent, Torpor have surely delivered a cult classic in the making. Passion, authenticity, the reverberating ring of truth…ancient powers arise from time immemorial!

Nowa EP-ka REEKMIND

Australian death-doom collective REEKMIND unveil today the full stream of their new EP "Glints From The Crematorium", now available through an exclusive premiere hosted by Death Metal Promotion. Set for release on July 24, 2026 via Night Terrors Records on CD and 12” vinyl formats, the new release expands the band’s bleak and immersive sonic identity, pushing their approach beyond the foundations established with their debut full-length.

Stream "Glints From The Crematorium" HERE.

Rooted in massive riffs, oppressive atmospheres and an overwhelming sense of emotional collapse, REEKMIND continues to channel a form of catharsis where despair and weight coexist in perfect balance. The new material preserves the raw and organic intensity that defined the band’s earlier work, while broadening its expressive scope through more fluid structures and a deeper focus on tension, contrast and immersive pacing.

The EP also features guest vocals by Daniel Butler (Vastum, Decrepisy, Acephalix) on "Flesh Draped on a Pitiful Frame", adding an additional layer of hostility and anguish to the release. Furthermore, the track "Rehearsal in a Body of Death" will appear exclusively as a bonus track on the physical edition and will not be made available digitally.

Tracklist:

1. Flesh Draped on a Pitiful Frame
2. Cyst Megalith
3. Rehearsal in a Body of Death (Bonus Track)

Strzał od UNDERTAKERS

As previously announced, Italian death-grind veterans UNDERTAKERS will release their new album "Global Dominion" on July 10, 2026 via Time To Kill Records.

Today the band unveils the album’s title-track, "Global Dominion", offering another glimpse into the sonic direction explored on the new record. The song stands as one of the album’s key moments, capturing the band’s vision through a balance between the violence of death-grind, the immediacy of hardcore and a more structured and dynamic approach to songwriting.

"Global Dominion" translates into music a reflection on a reality where freedom and identity are constantly being challenged. A track that highlights the multifaceted nature of an album in which the band continues to move between sheer aggression, intensity and a strong critical edge.

Nowy kawałek od CEREMONIAL WORSHIP

Today, Greek black metallers Ceremonial Worship premiere the new track "Pantheon of Suffering" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated third album, Between Sleep and Death, set for international release on July 31st via Eternal Death. Hear Ceremonial Worship's "Pantheon of Suffering" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Hailing from Hellas itself, Ceremonial Worship formed in 2016 as the singular creation of High Priest C.W. A couple EPs followed during the band's first few years of existence, but in 2021, Ceremonial Worship delivered its first recording under the banner of Eternal Death with a split tape with Filipino comrades Omenfilth, jointly titled The Pact of Morbid Conspiracy.

While the band's first full-length came at the beginning of 2022, titled Ode to Dionyssus but in a very limited edition, the subsequent Seven Gateways to Eternal Misanthropy later that year was regarded as Ceremonial Worship's true debut album. Again released by Eternal Death, that record saw the band moving away from classic-styled Hellenic black metal toward something more abstract. Weird & wild riffing colliding with suitably anguished vocals, the pulse both distant and forceful, and the sum effect most definitely disturbing: Seven Gateways to Eternal Misanthropy was truly titled.

In 2025, Ceremonial Worship were reborn stronger than ever - dark, unholy, with the sole purpose of delivering chaos! The Whisperer of Night, who performed vocals on 2018's Esoteron EP, returned sharper than ever. Two new members also joined: Petros P. invoking demons on bass, and George K. bombarding on drums. High Priest C.W. remains on guitars, unleashing the darkness in all its glory.

The result: Between Sleep and Death. Still proudly Hellenic, Ceremonial Worship's third album likewise harkens to ancient times, but instead of the "Big Three" of Greek black metal (Rotting Christ, Varathron, Necromantia), there's overt tinges of Hellenic BM's second wave, such as early Kawir, Legion of Doom, Nocternity, or even mid-period Nightfall. However, the quartet's personality and identity come through with full fucking force here; that they combine so compellingly the respectively unique pulses of the two waves is what invites such references, coupled with an almost martial execution and a regal-yet-rowdy production. Atmosphere and aggression thus devour each other like the Ouroboros, and wanderlust is invoked across eight strident & succinct hymns, altogether making for an honorable new era for Ceremonial Worship. The dragon has awakened!
