“Profane Rites for Cursed Times”

Night Terrors Rec. 2026

(Czytaj dalej...)

Wznowienie debiutu AKHOTH

Today, Signal Rex announces June 6th as the international release date for a reissue of Akhoth's debut album, Of Might and Hierarchy, on CD format. The vinyl version will follow later.

Forged in the shadows of obscurity and hewn from the ancient spirit of conquest, Of Might and Hierarchy, the debut full-length from Australia’s Akhoth, emerges once more, this time with the strength and reach it rightfully commands.

Originally released in a highly limited domestic CD edition, the album quickly dissolved into the underground, whispered about among devoted circles yet seldom obtained. Now, through the auspices of Signal Rex, this formidable work is reborn in definitive form: pressed on both audio compact disc and vinyl LP, and made available to a wider international audience for the first time.

Akhoth's sound is steeped in the essence of medieval black metal - unyielding, austere, and reverent of a bygone age defined by hierarchy, steel, and divine authority. Across its seven tracks, Of Might and Hierarchy conjures visions of feudal dominion, ritualistic warfare, and the cold transcendence of power. The album’s raw-yet-deliberate production preserves its arcane aura, while its pacing and structure evoke the grandeur of ancient rites rather than the fleeting impulses of modern extremity.

In an era of excess and immediacy, this work stands apart: patient, imposing, and resolutely bound to tradition. Its initial scarcity only deepened its mystique. Now, this reissue ensures that its presence will no longer be confined to the fortunate few.

The age of obscurity has ended. The hierarchy stands revealed.

In the meantime, stream Of Might and Hierarchy in its entirety HERE at Signal Rex's official YouTube channel. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Tracklisting for Akhoth's Of Might and Hierarchy
1. Fractured Divinity
2. Veil of the Cosmic Night

4. Oath of Iron and Blood
5. Emperor's Demise

Zapowiedź debiutu NACHTHEEM

Today, Terratur Possessions announces June 6th as the international release date for Nachtheem's highly anticipated debut album, Waan van de leegte, on CD and vinyl LP formats. Worldwide distribution is handled by Amor Fati Productions.

Nachtheem's first full-length, Waan van de leegte is a testimony to a sleeping world and its inherent emptiness that has beckoned those avoidant of a deeper truth. The sound found on the band's previous demo and split releases has been refined, crafting a more matured vision of their style of atmospheric dark metal. They explore floating and hypnotic structures combined with a healthy dose of aggression, making Waan van de leegte a unique recording of a sound that is solely their own.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Geen vuur in gods hallen" HERE at Terratur's official YouTube channel. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

FURIA gra kino

Przed Wami jedyna możliwość, by obejrzeć to nieprzeciętne widowisko koncertowe, w równie wyjątkowych przestrzeniach, wyselekcjonowanych w pięciu miastach w Polsce.

Uwaga! Wydarzenie zawiera intensywne efekty świetlne i dźwiękowe.

 Pharmacist

„Vertebrae After Vertebrae”

Hells Headbangers 2026

(Czytaj dalej...)

Zwiastun piątego albumu JORDSJØ

On July 24th internationally, Dying Victims Productions will release Jordsjø’s highly anticipated fifth album, Pestkrønikene, on CD and vinyl LP formats. And today, Deaf Forever magazine's website premieres the new track "White Magic." Hear Jordsjø’s "White Magic" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Jordsjø released their first tape in 2015. With the fourth tape, 2017’s Jord, the band got a wider audience outside their native Norway and subsequently released full-lengths on such labels as Karisma, Pancromatic, and Apollon. The band works as a duo in the studio, but for the last eight years, they have played live as a quintet. Jordsjø are led by multi-instrumentalist Håkon Oftung, who has been a part of Oslo’s psychedelic, progressive, and heavy rock undergrounds for many years, and has played in Black Magic, Tusmørke, The Chronicles of Father Robin, Wobbler, Zenon, and labelmates Flight to mention but a few. He's joined by longtime companion and childhood friend Kristian Frøland, who plays drums and percussion, and also produced and mixed Pestkrønikene.

Succinct yet deceptively expansive at just 36 minutes, Pestkrønikene is a generous feast of fantastical, extra-dimensional exploration. While not “heavy” in the usual Dying Victims sense, Jordsjø honor the old ways – handmade, honest, even heroic.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "White Magic" exclusively HERE, courtesy of Deaf Forever, Germany's defenders of the true. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Singiel LECHEROUS NOCTURNE

For Immediate Release - USDM veterans, LECHEROUS NOCTURNE are back with a vengeance. The band has just unleashed their first new track since 2018’s Occultaclysmic.

“Fission” obliterates LECHEROUS NOCTURNE’s eight-year hiatus with extreme force, delivering one of the most aggressive assaults in the band’s nearly 30 years of existence. Marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band, the song showcases a reinvigorated form of their trademark technical death metal chaos, further intensified with the addition of new vocalist Zach Jeter (Nile) to the fold.

“Once again Lecherous Nocturne has been inspired to release a series of songs representative of life’s horrors,” says guitarist Kreishloff Lofgren. “The music is proud, ferocious, fun to play, and focused. I’m personally very happy with the end result and look forward to the albums release.”

Zach Jeter offers his thoughts on the band’s new chapter. “Alongside my brothers in Lecherous Nocturne, we've compiled an uncompromisingly brutal slab of music that's finally ready to unleash. I'm stoked and honored to be a part of it. The first single takes no prisoners and wastes no time kicking you in the teeth from the start. Still just a taste of whats to come.”

LECHEROUS NOCTURNE has tapped Metal Injection for the exclusive world premiere of the lyric video for “Fission.” Watch now at this location.

“Fission” is also streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

The song is the first of a string of singles leading up to the band’s long-awaited fifth album, Violust due out this fall.

Zapowiedź nowego INTO DARKNESS

On July 24th internationally, Dying Victims Productions will release the the long-awaited debut album of Italy’s Into Darkness, Route to the Other Side, on CD and vinyl LP formats. And today, Deaf Forever magazine's website premieres the new track "Jupiter." Hear Into Darkness' "Jupiter" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Italy's Into Darkness have been a work in progress since their formation in 2011. Led by vocalist / guitarist Doomed Warrior from the very beginning, the band released a handful of demos, a couple splits, and a couple EPs during their first decade of existence. While all short-lengths, they certainly did not lack in quality. As time (and lineups) went on, Into Darkness’ primary influences – equally early Asphyx and Soulburn, Pentacle, Sinister, Gorefest, Dead Head, Phlebotomized, Acrostichon, and Thanatos among others – came more sharply into focus, aligning reverently within old-school Dutch death metal in style but with a unique lyrical focus: divulgative astronomy. Not astrology, not sci-fi, no Lovecraft – only and specifically divulgative astronomy, maybe poetically but definitely realistically.

Now, at long last, Into Darkness are prepared to unleash their debut album. Tellingly titled Route to the Outer Side, the Italians’ first full-length is a concept record about the outer solar system, which still considers Pluto as a planet and also includes Halley’s Comet. As a power-trio, they unload a twisted, hulking mass of DEATH METAL – dark, doomed, but not without a special spark of astral atmosphere. Mind you, Into Darkness still don’t do “sci-fi” or “spacey” death metal; rather, the sweeping songwriting that overtakes the listener with an energetic-yet-patient pace spells out in subtler terms the band’s lyrical conceits. Put another way, they show you rather than tell you about the vast, ominous majesty of space, leaving behind cliché sonic signifiers in favor of timeless death metal songcraft. Nevertheless, the trio possess prodigious chops, and are unafraid to often put them in service of the song – but when framed within the album’s powerful & professional production, it all feels exceptionally organic and far from flashy.

A creative, passionate vision that’s bloomed beyond their trademark tribute to classic Dutch death metal, Into Darkness have finally arrived. Prepare for the Route to the Other Side!

Singiel od NECROMONGER

NECROMONGER, the new abomination emerging from the depths of the most dense and oppressive Death/ Gore, unleash a new audiovisual nightmare with the video clip for “Beyond the Pleasure Principle”, the second advance single from their imminent debut album “Emanation of the Dying Perceptions”.

The Bulgarian trio spews a putrid mass of sound that crushes without mercy: a sick hybrid of Death Metal, Goregrind, and Doom pushed to a level of sonic suffocation rarely reached. No escape, no relief... just density, darkness, and decay.

“Emanation of the Dying Perceptions” will be released on July 9th through Xtreem Music on CD, 12” LP, cassette, and digital formats. Prepare to be dragged into a bottomless pit.

Nowy kawałek z nowego CONSECRATION

The track highlights the band’s evolving songwriting approach, combining the somber weight of classic ’90s death-doom with a more defined and crushing sonic presence.

Rooted in the tradition of the British scene yet shaped by a contemporary edge, “Submerged in Sand” intertwines oppressive atmospheres, dense riffing and moments of sharp, impactful aggression.

Szósty DAUÞUZ pod koniec miesiąca

Today, Amor Fati Productions announces May 29th as the international release date for Dauþuz's highly anticipated sixth album, Todeswerk: Uranium II, on CD and vinyl LP formats. The tape version of the album is being released via the band themselves on their respective labels, Archaic-Oath Productions and Moonstruck.

Since 2016, Dauþuz have been delivering quality black metal, which they have classified as Mining Black Metal. Two years after the release of Uranium, its successor, Todeswerk: Uranium II, is now here. Their melodic black metal, traditionally rooted in the '90s, constantly generates fresh and playful moments of tension without ever sounding truly old-fashioned. Dauþuz strike again with renewed strength. This time, they’ve enlisted a session drummer, named Werwolf, to lend their new work even greater depth. The acoustic guitars have also returned, once again celebrating the melancholy of the mountain, this time in utter despair. Stylistically, Dauþuz are taking a slightly more brutal approach, though with touches of the varied vocals from the Bergkgesænge album.

As the title suggests, the lyrical work of Todeswerk: Uranium II focuses once again on uranium mining and the years following the Second World War. This time, however, the attention is directed towards the tormented forced laborers and victims in the Joachimsthal region and Bohemia. The inhumane conditions in the mines, industrial plants, and camps run by the Soviets and later the Communists, as well as the creeping decay of an entire landscape, are brought to light here. Thousands of miners, destroyed and worn to death, had to pay for the Soviet race for the atomic bomb with suffering and torment.

Zapowiedź debiutu ILLWIND

On July 3rd internationally, Personal Records is proud to present Illwind's striking debut album, The Unfolding at the End of Light, on CD format.

Born under the gray skies and sea mist of Lima, capital of Peru, Illwind are a heavy doom band with influences ranging from black metal to stoner rock to post-punk, with a clear aim to march towards the darker side of existence. The quartet are forged from members of some of the top South American bands such as Reino Ermitaño, Cobra, Arcada, and Argul, making up a motley cauldron of different forces that propel Illwind forward under a common intent of will.

Illwind's public debut, the full-length The Unfolding at the End of Light, provides five original tracks which paint a somber underworld to dive into...and a closing cover of the Stooges' classic "I Wanna Be Your Dog" to climb back out of. On first blush, the album sounds stridently like a traditional doom record - lumbering heaviness, slow-yet-insistent rhythms, emotively clean vocals - but patience, like much orbiting the wider doom world, yields maximum immersion. From sometimes-unexpected bursts of first-wave-black speed to a grey-spiraling sort of melodicism not far from goth or shoegaze (or, think the Cure) to a pastoral-cum-heroic atmosphere that spiritually recalls Bathory's beloved Viking era, Illwind manage to inject their own idiosyncratic personality into a subgenre that's rigid for a reason.

Put another way, a more specific reading of Illwind's influences puts into perspective this particular personality: from Neurosis and Swans to Black Sabbath and '70s hard rock to Yob, Windhand, Monolord, Bellwitch, and Warning to Sonic Youth, Depeche Mode, or the aforementioned Stooges. This mélange of musical mapwork, distilling the four members' very musical beings, has truly given The Unfolding at the End of Light a relatively singular sound - equally ambient and extremely heavy, ominously moving yet dreamlike, and all of it with a surprisingly kaleidoscopic tint of melancholy. The album's richly analog production heightens this sensation and penetrates the listener to his core. Begin the trip of The Unfolding at the End of Light!

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Crimson Skies" HERE at Personal Records' Bandcamp. Preorder info can be found HERE. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

„Descending Curse”

Godz ov War 2026

„Nikt się nie spodziewał, ale każdy chciał!” Rozśmieszyło mnie troszkę to hasło wydawnicze, które rzucił włodarz Godz ov War na Fejsbuczku. Serio? (Czytaj dalej...)

„Verwording”

Dominance of Darkness 2026

Wrang to kapela z holenderskiego podwórka, gdzie muzykuje od 2013 roku. Właśnie, po czterech latach przerwy, powrócili z nowym pełniakiem. Holendrzy grają black metal, który zapodają na całkiem zimnych i twardo nastrojonych gitarach, które mocno zagęszczają, łomoczące beczki i wyraźny bas. Instrumentom towarzyszą rzecz jasna zajadłe wokale i śladowe klawisze, które zostały umieszczone w chyba kluczowych momentach poszczególnych utworów. (Czytaj dalej...)

Można sprawdzać nowy COGNIZANCE

Leeds (UK) - Willowtip has released, In Light, No Shape, the monumental new album from Progressive Death Metallers, COGNIZANCE!

Purchase/Stream In Light, No Shape:

Four LPs deep and a slew of EPs behind them, COGNIZANCE show no signs of restraining the pace of unrelenting inventive riffs and razor-sharp grooves. In Light, No Shape is a masterful Progressive Death Metal opus, rich in texture and atmospheric detail, delivering everything long-time listeners crave while channeling the mid-90s technical extremity of Death, Extol, and Meshuggah. This time, the band deliberately fractures the conventions of modern extreme production, opting instead for a more organic and visceral mix that sharpens the defining traits of their work.

In Light, No Shape marks the first lineup shift in a decade, as the band sharpen from a quintet to a quartet with founding guitarist Alex Baillie stepping forward as vocalist while retaining guitar duties, following the 2023 departure of founding vocalist Henry “Big Mac” Pryce.

Track Listing:
1. Transient Fixations
2. Inflection Chants
4. Chasm
5. Vertical Illusion
6. A Reconfiguration
7. Witness Marks [Video]
8. Subterranean Incantation
9. Induced Contortions
10. The Zone [Video]
