“To the Great Monolith III”

Sentient Ruin Laboratories 2026

Życie jednak potrafi zaskakiwać. Sześć lat czekałem na następcę “To the Great Monolith II”, a kiedy w moje ręce w końcu trafiła EP-ka o numerze 2.5, to nie zdążyłem się nią jeszcze nacieszyć, gdy do drzwi zapukał ostatni rozdział trylogii. Słucham w tej chwili „To the Great Monolith III” po raz dziesiąty, i nadal nie potrafię się otrząsnąć, a miliony myśli kłębią mi się w głowie. (Czytaj dalej...)

„To Satan I Reply”

Iron Bonehead Productions 2026

(Czytaj dalej...)

Klip DECONSTRUCTING SEQUENCE

PROGRESSIVE BLACK METAL BAND ‘DECONSTRUCTING SEQUENCE’ RELEASE NEW MUSIC VIDEO ‘THE UNDYING VOID’
(Watch on YouTube)

Progressive black metal band DECONSTRUCTING SEQUENCE release new video ‘THE UNDYING VOID”, featured on last year’s well-received album, “Tenebris Cosmicis Tempora” released through Black Lion Records. The song’s striking amalgamation of avante-garde textures, epic atmosphere, and brutal blackened prog is stunningly encapsulated by the dark but haunting visualization created by Łukasz Grosik from Remedy Brand.

Initially residing in the UK, DECONSTRUCTING SEQUENCE appeared from the shadows in 2013 with their EP “Year One.” They quickly followed it up in 2014 with another EP, "Access Code.” In 2017, they expanded the sounds of these EPs and summoned forth their first full-length album, “Cosmic Progression: An Agonizing Journey Through the Oddities of Space.” After lineup changes, a renewed energy was focused into releasing 2025’s, “Tenebris Cosmicis Tempora.”

The “UNDYING VOID,” blends furious riffing, majestic elements, and haunting atmospheric depth to forge a truly unique sonic journey.

Debiut FUNERAL (Peru) jeszcze w tym miesiącu

Today, Caligari Records and Black Legion Records announce September 25th as the international release date for the striking debut EP from Lima, Peru's Funeral, self-titled Funeral. Caligari will handle the cassette tape version while Black Legion will handle the CD version.

Hailing from Lima - and thus, no relation to the band once hailing from Arequipa - Peru's Funeralare a veritable nuclear bomb-blast of manic blackened hardcore-punk deathrock. Or perhaps it's deathrocking hardcore-punked black metal? Any way you approach them, Funeral dole out one attack of unholy filth after another with little to no regard for safety - their or especially yours. Indeed, everything ATTACKS from every angle on their first recording, the five-song / 16-minute Funeral: staccato blasts of energy, chorus-drenched guitars, and totally tortured throat. Delirium and destruction are bound by rusty chains.

That this raw racket comes from a brand-new band may be surprising, but the members of Funeral are actually veterans of their local Lima scene. Their sound is shaped by Nilo's razor-wire riffs, Sabasius' speed-freak drumming, and Cavernoso’s guttural, agonizing howls, all colliding to drag you kicking into an abrasive vortex of pure noise and violence. It's a wretched descent into absolute misery, rage, and inevitable decay, recommended for tastes as varied (and violent) as G.I.S.M., Devilmaster, Bone Awl, Hævner, Blot & Bod, Rudimentary Peni, Dawn of Humans, and early Iceage. You already know if you have the fortitude for this Funeral!

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Averno" HERE at Caligari Records' Bandcamp, where the EP can also be preordered. A video for the song can also be seen & heard HERE at Caligari's official YouTube channel. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

PAARA wracają z trzecim krążkiem

From the darkest corners of the North, PAARA return to the surface with their third full-length album, "Laulut tulen ja jään", set for release on October 30th, 2026 through Dusktone.

The first single "Pohjolan" is now streaming HERE.

For more than a decade, PAARA have cultivated a vision of Finnish black metal that feels deeply rooted in the landscape that surrounds them. Their music evokes the bleak winds sweeping across the fells, the thousands of lakes and the endless forests of Finland, drawing on the darkness of the old world while allowing moments of unexpected beauty to emerge from within it.

Formed around fifteen years ago, PAARA have developed into an entity that thrives on contradiction: brutal yet beautiful, harsh yet strangely comforting, black as the northern night yet capable of revealing flashes of warmth beneath its frozen surface. The band's modern manifestations began with "Yön olevainen puoli" (2015) and "Riitti" (2018), establishing a distinctive approach to atmospheric black metal that balances aggression with a strong sense of melody and place.

After seemingly disappearing from view around 2019, PAARA were never truly gone. The entity had simply retreated into the wilderness, gathering strength and tracing the roots of its inspiration through the darkest reaches of Northern nature and the distant past. Now, in 2026, it emerges once again with "Laulut tulen ja jään", its most expansive and dynamic manifestation yet.

The album moves constantly between razor-sharp black metal assaults and more majestic passages, with clean vocals and choral arrangements often amplifying the grandeur of its most imposing moments. Yet PAARA refuse to settle into a predictable pattern. Their compositions are full of structural turns and unexpected developments, allowing delicate atmospheric passages to surface between the harsher sections.

A particularly important role is played by the guitars, with acoustic passages adding an unexpected fragility to the album and creating moments of stillness within its otherwise turbulent landscape. These quieter sections never feel ornamental: they become an integral part of the compositions, opening new perspectives before the music inevitably plunges back into darkness.

The songs on "Laulut tulen ja jään" are sharply defined and deliberately varied in their construction. Some unfold across more than ten minutes, patiently developing their ideas and allowing the atmosphere to evolve, while shorter pieces take a more concentrated approach, extracting their impact from carefully shaped moods and textures. Despite the breadth of ideas at work, the album remains remarkably fluid, with each composition finding its own path without disrupting the overall flow.

Rich in detail but never cumbersome, "Laulut tulen ja jään" finds PAARA at their most expressive. Riffs, choirs, clean voices, acoustic guitars and atmospheric passages become different facets of the same northern vision, creating an album that can be both savage and majestic, intimate and imposing.

The old entity has returned. The darkness of the North has found another voice.

Idzie nowy album ARCKANUM

Today, Darkness Shall Rise Productions announces October 31st as the international release date for Arckanum's highly anticipate 10th album, Beswærilsin, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Everything created under the name Arckanum is an extension of Shamaatae's Thursian spiritual practice and artistic vision. The music is conceived not simply as artistic expression, but as an act of magical will, shaped to evoke specific inner states, esoteric ideas, and atmospheres without compromise or conformity.

From its beginning, Arckanum has followed the Left-Hand Path: the way of the outsider, the vargar, standing beyond imposed order and conventional morality. Resistance, questioning, and individual will have always remained fundamental to both Shamaatae's spiritual Work and his approach to art.

The forthcoming album carries this principle further as a complete magical working. Music, lyrics, sound, and visual form have been developed as interconnected parts of the same ritual expression, shaped through intent and devotion within Shamaatae's Thursatru Workings.

Written in Old Swedish (fornsvenska), the lyrics draw upon Old Norse and Swedish poetic traditions while incorporating elements of Swedish svartkonst. They function as mythic charms and narrative incantations, invoking the Thursian current.

Musically, the new material represents a fusion of Arckanum's older foundations with Shamaatae's present approach to composition. Beswærilsin cuts deep with a feral, unpolished production, raw with aggression and stripped of unnecessary ornament. Its sound moves between the freezing storms of Niflheimr and the relentless, blazing fury of Múspellsheimr, at once cold and searing, primitive and forceful, carrying the unmistakable spirit of Arckanum into a harsher and more dynamic form.

First single to be revealed on October 4th. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:
