The album "Nexus Polaris", the second studio album by Norwegian metal band Covenant, released in 1998 via Nuclear Blast, marks a pivotal moment in the band's history. It was the last album under the name Covenant before the group rebranded as The Kovenant and shifted from symphonic black metal to electronic/industrial metal. The album’s success, released under the metal giant Nuclear Blast, led to the Terrestrial Terror tour and earned the band the Spellemann Award in the hard rock category, often referred to as the Norwegian equivalent of the Grammy Awards.
