Death metal outfit UMULAMAHRI will unleash its debut album - Learning the Secrets of Acid - this fall on Ordovician Records.
Pushing the limits of extreme music into stranger and more corrosive territories, UMULAMAHRI is comprised of a formidable lineup of underground innovators. The band features Andrew Hawkins of Baring Teeth and Doug Moore of Pyrrhon, Seputus, Glorious Depravity, and Weeping Sores. Session drummer Kevin Paradis adds his trademark percussive firepower to the band's sound.
Learning the Secrets of Acid is a densely cerebral excursion into warped riffs, fractured rhythms, and unyielding intensity. The album redefines the framework of death metal, crafting something volatile, unpredictable, and deeply unsettling.
