On September ​30th internationally, Antiq is proud to present Hardiesse's highly anticipated debut mini-album, Tristesse Vespérale.

Hardiesse are a two piece-band hailing from France: Wynter on bass and vocals (Wÿntër Ärvn, Woest, ex-Aorlhac), and Hyver on guitar and vocals (Grylle, Véhémence, Hanternoz, Hyver, Tour d'Ivoire, Paydretz). The aim is to create virulent and powerful black metal with medieval inspiration.

Hardiesse's debut mini-album, Tristesse Vespérale contains six songs in which the duo were helped by Sven V. (rhythm guitars and drums, mixing). The lyrics are linguistic twists of the medieval era / medieval lexicon flowing in the direction of the song title, like a poetic meditation. This litany of words helps in making a very raw, very condensed purpose. Through this sobriety, the stream of thoughts of the lyric writer is more obvious: one word, leading to another, like a kind of Cadavre Exquis (a poetry style) featuring just enumerations of medieval-themed lexical range. Musically, the album presents fierce black metal with an epic vibe in the likes of Passéisme, Windir, or Forteresse.

Antiq is a label dedicated to the fully coherent concept of making music through sound, image, video, and attitude. They have been putting their entire existence into it since 2009. Over the years, Antiq have been identified as producers of not only perfectly coherent lyrics and themes through music, but also conceptual art and, of course, the manufacturing of beautiful objects. The label tries as much as it can to work with French creators, and if possible, with the smallest and most serious structures.
