Cóż, pierwsza, wydana przed dwoma laty płyta tej francuskiej hordy nic specjalnego sobą nie reprezentowała (przynajmniej dla mnie). Była trochę ta produkcja, jak pędzona ongiś Wódka Mazowiecka. Na zimno można było ją łyknąć, trochę się po nas powałęsała i kuroniem zleciała, większej szkody nie czyniąc. ORPHIQUE zapowiadają debiut

 

On November 24th internationally, Sepulchral Productions is proud to present Orphique's striking debut album, Consécration Cadavérique.

Orphique, a new player within Québec’s black metal scene, was summoned by David Potter as a means to put his vision into words and music. For his first album, Consécration Cadavérique, Potter has surrounded himself with musicians close to him to realize this vision, the result of which is high-caliber melodic black metal where faster, more traditional parts fuse with atmospheric and progressive passages, somewhat reminiscent of Gris and Sombres Forêts’ musical collaboration, Miserere Luminis.

Sometimes frenetic, sometimes contemplative, always emotional, Orphique's Consécration Cadavérique is a superb new entry into the Québec black metal pantheon! Fittingly, the album will be released at this year's Messe des Morts festival, curated as always Sepulchral Productions.

Dziś mały skok w nieodległą aż tak bardzo przeszłość, czyli do roku osiemnastego, kiedy to w głębokim podziemiu wykluł się dwuosobowy projekt o nazwie Halo of Miasma.  Materiał ten ukazał się w ściśle limitowanym nakładzie kasetowym i zapewne dawno się wyprzedał, nie mniej jednak jest kolejnym dowodem na to, że czasem do andegrandu nie tylko wypada, ale i należy zajrzeć. NEKOMATA is a new Italian modern metal band born from the ashes of the band PROJECT KASHA. Founded in 2022 by Filippo Zavattari (ex FROZEN CROWN) on bass and backing vocals and Andrea Cappellari (ex SKELETOON) on guitars and programming, the band has recently been joined by Andrea Olivieri on vocals and Nicolò Buganza on drums.

The vast experience and diverse musical background of the musicians involved and their desire to create something new, detached from trends and labels, has led to the composition of an album that will be released in the near future. Combining a powerful and modern sound with melodic singing, NEKOMATA have been labelling this sound “power-core”.
