“En hemskog” is the second single and music video from “Dolt land”, the upcoming album of multidisciplinary Swedish music project Grift, due for release on September 22, 2023.

Once again, Erik Gärdefors plays all the instruments himself – including acoustic guitar, melodica, glockenspiel, analogue synth, and percussion – and has also sampled nature sounds to create a truly immersive listening experience. Regardless of instrumentation, or whether Grift performs in concert or studio, Erik always seeks to convey the sense of melancholy and existential questions that artists and thinkers throughout history have always felt a strong urge to express. Evocative escapism to, if only for a moment, sever the chains of mundanity and allow your imagination to roam free.
