Italian melodic death-doom metal masters SHORES OF NULL have released the official video for "The Numbing Void", arriving today alongside their fifth album "Homesick", out now via Dusktone. One of the record's heaviest and most doom-laden compositions, the track features two special guests: Natalie Koskinen of SHAPE OF DESPAIR, whose haunting vocals intertwine with Davide Straccione's growls, and Shaun MacGowan of MY DYING BRIDE, whose violin deepens the song's mournful atmosphere.
Moving at a slower, weightier pace than much of the band's material on this album, "The Numbing Void" builds its impact through dense riffs, sombre melodies and a pervasive sense of emotional exhaustion. The contrasting vocal textures and mournful strings add further depth to the arrangement, reinforcing the song's bleak character. Released on the same day as "Homesick", the video offers a fitting introduction to one of the album's most introspective moments.
