Today, Caligari Records announces February 20tht, 2026 as the international release date for Brahmashiras' highly anticipated debut album, Trinitite, on CD format.
In 2023, Brahmashiras released their self-titled debut EP via Caligari. Hailing from Vladimir, Russia, the band wielded a sound as idiosyncratic as their moniker: abstract yet refined, marrying the heft and grit of death metal to a throbbing, swirling husk of hardcore punk. Gloomy yet hammering, askew yet straightforward, Brahmashiras was all given full flight with old-grindcore energy and heavy metal bravado. In a word, Brahmashiras were cult.
Now, two years later, Brahmashiras return with their first full-length, Trinitite, to show that such cultness was no mere fluke. Dispensing with the minimalism of its short-length predecessor, Trinitite surges and slices, pounds and punishes, to a far-more-restless framework. Which isn't to suggest that Brahmashiras are more scatterbrained in their songwriting - far from it. Rather, this debut album takes the rudiments of the EP and sends explosive shockwaves across seven-song / 26-minute runtime. A bit more blackened, too, Brahmashiras altogether sound hungrier and more vengeful - and fucking HEAVIER, as the production on Trinitite is full-bodied to the extreme, fully befitting the power-trio's tighter execution.
Thus, with a major leap in production and tighter playing driven by an increased hostility that pushes every element - from the spiteful, raw-vocal attack to the grinding, chaotic riffs - into the red, Brahmashiras maximize their fullest potential on Trinitite. This isn't refinement for accessibility; it's a calculated escalation, delivering a truly crushing and abrasive sound built for the fringes.
"We will tell you about the knowledge that emerges from the womb of desire. I, Brahmashiras, invite you on a journey that will reveal the meaning of life. I will impart to you knowledge about the duty of every person, which will elevate you and lead you to enlightenment."
