Today, Caligari Records announces January 9th, 2026 as the international release date for Voidhämmer's striking debut demo, Noxious Emissions, on cassette tape format.
Voidhämmer are a power-trio hailing from Los Angeles, featuring members of Swampbeast and Crematory Stench. Their vile, four-song sonic cipher, titled Noxious Emissions, is a chaotic arrangement of vibrations hinting at ancient, forbidden knowledge. Voidhämmer do not merely play; they deliver four caustic tracks that achieve a sound utterly devoid of humanity, drawing upon the primal, buzzing entropy of crust, death metal, and grindcore—a sound that, if listened to too closely, suggests the rhythmic pulse of something vast and indifferent stirring beneath this world's thin membrane. To confront these emissions is to confront the terrifying, sick truth of our existence: a dying world, a cosmic hellscape that humanity, in its pitiable frailty, is compelled to inhabit until the inevitable end. Those devoted to the crushing weight of Coffins, the primal horror of Morbid Angel, and the maddening buzz of Disrupt will recognize in this recording the authentic, terrifying call of the Void.
