Blackened death metal band GRAUFAR release the title track and first single from their upcoming album ‘VIA NECROPOLIS’. Accompanying the single release is a music video featuring live footage filmed across 9 different shows, including Wacken Open Air Festival.
GRAUFAR was founded in 2020 in Linza, Austria. On April 13th, 2024, the band released their well received independent debut album ‘SCORDALUS.’ In the same year, GRAUFAR won the Wacken Metal Battle Austria and went on to place ninth in the international finals at Wacken Open Air.
Upcoming album ‘VIA NECROPOLIS’ is an uncompromising release born of vicious extremity, speedy grooves, urgent solos and brutal vocals. Lyrically, the album explores themes such as social criticism, the darker side of human nature, transience and death.
