Promo wałek od MORGUILIATH

Today, French black metal cult Morguiliath premiere the new track "Venom and Vomit" at the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel. The track is the first to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated second album, Occult Sins, New Unholy Dimension, set for international release on November 26th via Osmose Productions on CD format; the vinyl LP version shall follow later. Hear Morguiliath's "Venom and Vomit" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Morguiliath was born in the south of France by Rats in 2004, offering multiple concerts and performances. Two demos have been released and distributed independently. The first album, Age of Misanthropia Human Blood and Chaos, was released in 2020 by Vacuum Tehiru Productions as a very dark album dealing with occultism, demonology, Chaos, and the annihilation of monotheistic beliefs and all forms of religious cults.

Rats is the only one active member in this project, who is also involved in two other projects: Suicide Circle with the illustrious boss of French black metal, Meyhnach, produced and distributed by Osmose; and Dhärnürgh, which remains an independent alternative project.

The new album Occult Sins, New Unholy Dimension follows the path of Morguiliath and respects the ethics of '80s and '90s black metal, associating thrash / black metal riffs without forgetting an unhealthy and abysmal atmosphere. Many influences are present here, such as Bathory, Venom, Darkthrone, Nëhëmäh, Hell Militia, Mütiilation, and others...

Drugi album MÜTTERLEIN w ostatnich dniach roku

Bringing the old year to a closure, French solo project MÜTTERLEIN heralds the coming of its second album, "Bring Down The Flags", via Debemur Morti Productions on December 30th (December 31st on streaming platforms). Not surprising to MÜTTERLEIN's fans and followers, "Bring Down The Flags" once again escapes all categorizations and oscillates between borderline-Black Metal, subterranean sound-design and electronics, ritualistic Doom, post-Punk savagery and brutally hypnotic Industrial rhythms. All these elements are fused into six unique compositions:

01. The Descent
02. A Mass For It
03. Mother Of Wrath
04. Violence And Misery
05. A Mess To Me
06. Requiem

All music on "Bring Down The Flags" was composed and recorded by MÜTTERLEIN. The mixing and mastering took place at Kerwax Analog Recording Studio (DEATHSPELL OMEGA) in 2021. Enigmatic visual artist Dehn Sora (BLUT AUS NORD, AMENRA) is responsible for the album artwork.

MÜTTERLEIN is the solo project of Marion Leclercq (ex-OVERMARS), composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist.

Adopted in 2014, this pseudonym is a nod to the nightmarish yet fragile work of NICO, who in many ways deconstructed the unbearable myth of 'femininity' imposed on us. Musically, MÜTTERLEIN mixes Post-Punk savagery, Doom, Noise, Industrial and Black Metal to create a vast universe of Post-Metal experimentation.

First album, "Orphans Of The Black Sun" - released in 2016 on Sundust Records, a label co-run by Vindsval from BLUT AUS NORD – leaned towards the Post-Punk and Doom registers using minimalist, cold instrumentation to create a record organic and ritualistic as a witch-dance around a fire.

In 2020, MÜTTERLEIN responded to an invitation by the artist LIMBES (ex-BLURR THROWER) to create a mirror piece to his epic 25 minute track entitled "Vérité" (French for Truth) for a split release issued in 2021 by LADLO. The free format allowed MÜTTERLEIN to experiment even further, constructing a slow, desolate dreamscape of doom-laden Dark Ambient.

"Bring Down The Flags", MÜTTERLEIN's second album, will be released in late 2021 by Debemur Morti Productions. Dark, haunting and immediate, the album incorporates more electronic sounds and blackened Industrial atmospheres to serve a more direct subject and voice.

Singiel i zapowiedź debiutu TENSION

On January 28th, 2022 internationally, Dying Victims Productions will release the highly anticipated debut album of Germany’s Tension, Decay, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats. And today, Deaf Forever magazine's website premieres the new track "Hellflight." Hear Tension's "Hellflight" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Hailing from Leipzig, Germany’s Tension was founded in 2015 by vocalist Maik H. and guitarist Phil. M. during a night of dozens of heavy metal records and unlimited amounts of beer. The band was then rounded out by ex-members of Toxic Beast and Germany’s Prowler.

From the beginning, Tension’s influences were firm: the First Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal (or FWOSWHM), including the likes of Gotham City, Heavy Load, Jackwave, Parasite, Jonah Quizz, Depzon, and Stitch among others; the always-eternal NWOBHM, but particularly Satan, Traitors Gate, Wolf, Ritual, and Lime Light; heavy metal from the Eastern Bloc like Aria, Ossian, Formel I, Omen, and Pokolgép; and different kinds of punk music, but most prominently The Misfits and Discharge. In other words, the PERFECT type of band for Dying Victims – and not surprisingly, Tension released their self-titled debut EP through the label in 2017. Gigs followed with the esteemed likes of Manilla Road, Satan, Pagan Altar, Tokyo Blade, and Alien Force among others.

Now, nearly five years since the Tension short-length, Tension unleash their debut album, Decay. Right from its very first seconds, Decay sparkles with an excitement that’s absolutely addicting and endearingly timeless, running through a virtual jukebox of Old but brimming with the effervescence of Now. It’s pure heavy metal, through and through, with juiced-up hard rock and moody punk subtly integrated, and the power is always in abundance but never overbearing; Tension’s cool & cruising momentum harkens to a lost era of feel over sheer speed. At the fore are nightsky-ascending lead guitars, whose narrative melodies straddle a fine line between metal classicism and something closer to dark hard rock. And Maik’s clear ‘n’ emotive vocals bespeak bathos and pathos, bravado but tenderness, epic adventures as well as long nights at the bar.

The cassette and CD versions of Decay will include nine tracks, with the self-titled EP added to the latter as bonus tracks. The vinyl version of the album will include eight tracks due to length, with the extra track saved for a split EP to be released later in 2022. In the meantime, no better time to experience the “Higher Power” of Tension’s Decay!

Debiutancka EP-ka ABHORRATION jeszcze w tym miesiącu

Today, Invictus Productions announces November 26th as the international release date for the striking debut EP of Norway's Abhorration, After Winter Comes War, on cassette tape format. The CD and 12" vinyl versions will follow next year.

A brand-new formation begun in early 2020, Norway's Abhorration nevertheless feature members hailing from such bands as Condor, Nekromantheon, Hecatomb, Resonaut, Purple Hill Witch, and Obliteration. While one could reasonably expect what sound might result from such a conglomeration, the power-trio's first public recording, After Winter Comes War, aims for an olde-world Metal of Death that abounds with a refreshing sense of the "new." Here, Abhorration invoke and re-arrange trace elements of classic Sadistic Intent, Morbid Angel, Possessed, and early Vader into something uniquely labyrinthine - epic, haunting, and most devotedly METAL above all - with the wicked angularity of prime Axis of Advance to make proceedings that much more twisted & pissed. The recording across After Winter Comes War is suitably raw, but the execution is deadly tight, and the four component compositions thus ripple with an intensity that's scabrous. And thankfully, not once is there a cloying sense of "retro" here. Truly, an auspicious first start for this formation!

What comes after After Winter Comes War? Only Abhorration know at this moment - the band has since expanded to a quartet, and a full-length is rumored to be in the works - but Invictus is ready for whatever arsenal is provided next!

The first arsenal can be found with the brand-new title track "After Winter Comes War" HERE at Invictus Productions' Bandcamp. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Tracklisting for Abhorration (Norway)'s After Winter Comes War
1. After Winter Comes War [5:03]
2. Ten Trenches of Malebolge [6:22]
3. Desecrate the Exploits of God [5:39]
4. The Great Storm of Putrefaction [4:28]

Nowy album FLAGG jeszcze w tym roku

Purity Through Fire is proud to present Flagg's highly anticipated second album, Cosmic Chaos Manifest, on CD, A5 digipack, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats. The CD and tape versions shall be released on December 12th while the vinyl will follow in summer 2022.

When Flagg burst from the void in June 2020 with their debut album, Nothing But Death, the veil of secrecy had yet to be lifted. Which mattered not, when presented with black metal of such sterling quality: both ancient and ageless, old yet new. Their attack was immediately intense, exhibiting a restlessness that's roiling and raging, always moving but always with a target in sight. Eventually, it was revealed that Flagg hailed from Finland and was the work of selfsame multi-instrumentalist Flagg, who was a part of reanimated old Finnish cult Annihilatus, and vocalist Tyrant, whose hordes include the esteemed likes of Malum, Infernarium, and Kalmankantaja.

With that lineup thus set, Flagg return little more than a year later with their second full-length, Cosmic Chaos Manifest. An immediately harsher spin than its not-inconsiderable predecessor, Cosmic Chaos Manifest duly lives up to its title through a shapeshifting style of ultraviolence that retains a unique gleam, one that's paradoxically grittier for all its seemingly on-the-surface clarity. As ever, Flagg's songwriting strikes true through a skillful balance between burning fire and nightsky melodicism, here actually sounding more richly 1990s - specifically, the oft-overlooked late '90s - than the comparatively modernist grime of Nothing But Death. But, just like that bolt-from-the-blue debut, Flagg understand archaic expressions, the Old Language of Black Metal, where medieval atmosphere and ghostly portent informed even the most straightforward forms, rendering an air of aristocracy to that of belligerent bravado; now, they're just rendered in more restless, dizzying form.

Graced with another absolutely stunning cover courtesy of Vhan Artworks & Printing, Flagg's iron fist punches through past, present, and future with Cosmic Chaos Manifest!

 Zmarłym

„Druga Fala”

Godz Ov War 2021

(Czytaj dalej...)

Iron Bonehead rozpocznie nowy rok debiutem FURIS IGNIS

Today, Iron Bonehead Productions announces January 14th, 2022 as the international release date for Furis Ignis' striking debut album, Decapitate the Aging World, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Furis Ignis is brand-new one-man entity hailing from Germany. Despite its relative newness, Furis Ignis indeed wields German steel forged during the days of the ancients. No more but definitely no less, the band's Decapitate the Aging World debut is pure 'n' proud black metal from the days when black metal was strictly BLACK METAL. As forecasted by its starkly alluring cover art, Decapitate the Aging World recalls misty and mystical spirits from glorious, desolate times - be they Moonblood or early Desaster or equally early Katharsis - planting the banner of olde Germania deep into the frost-covered soil. And yet, for all this requisite coldness, more potently does a FIRE burn within Furis Ignis that makes its debut statement one that commands attention for its undeniably physical intensity: ghoulish and grim, yes, but stout and muscular and legitimately live. Underpinning this fiery intensity is a tasteful dusting of shimmering synth - "a touch of medieval darkness," as it were - just lingering enough like fog across a haunted moor.

Undeniably epic in its six-song/40-minute construction, Decapitate the Aging World breathes new life into death. Furis Ignis is on the march!

Begin marching with the brand-new track "Witness the Nightsky Palpitating to the Beat of Premonition" HERE at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:
