DOMINION zapowiadają debiut

 

On October 12th internationally, Sinistrari Records is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of New Hampshire's Dominion, Mortification of Thy Flesh.

Established in 2019 within the "Live Free or Die" state of New Hampshire by an individual known as Uncle Sadism (grunts, guitars) and his associate Ogre (bass), this entity emerged as a reaction against the modern interpretation of death metal. In essence, the band draw inspiration from the genre's past glory, idolizing the bygone era when death metal was truly captivating in the sickest ways possible!

Having spent years developing material sans drummer, Dominion joined forces with martial artist devotee and ardent "Once a Marine, always a Marine" nutcase Flagellator in 2022, initiating rehearsals for what would be their inaugural MCD, Evil Control, released on Sinistrari Records. Along this arduous journey, the band also recruited femme fatale Noctis as a second bassist, giving the band a unique heaviness which only adds to the bottom-of-the-barrel abyss known as Dominion...

It was also unveiled to Dominion that, amid rehearsals at their practice space, once dwelled a BDSM-obsessed female sexual sadist serial killer named Sheila LaBarre that preyed upon vulnerable men at the last house on the left of a dirt road adjacent to where the band were writing songs like "Sexual Sadism" and "Serial Rape"...a strange synchronistic coincidence indeed.

In October 2024, Dominion's four-song Evil Control EP was finally released. Concurrently, they took the stage at the renowned Forged in Defiance Fest in Texas. The CD copies, shipped from Sinistrari, were received in El Paso, a city known for its wild-west brutality. The performance that weekend was an experience etched in memories forever. The cold beer and tequila flowed freely, adding to the revelry.

After that monumental fest, Dominion returned to New Hampshire, where they would move into a different practice space in Manchester - where GG Allin used to churn out his own degenerate filth, as well. It came to be that Flagellator would be replaced by New England death metal drummer extraordinaire Claytanas as the man for the job for the first full-length. This creep conglomerate would spend much of the spring and summer of 2025 meticulously sculpting a vile audial abomination to which the underground at large is about to be violated by...

In November 2025, Dominion entered Witch House Studios in Groton, Massachusetts to record their debut full-length, Mortification of Thy Flesh. A truly perverse death-cult fever-pitch monstrosity of an album that could potentially rival a Jim Jones Kool-Aid-chugging sermon in terms of zealous devotion to the cause - for Dominion, the cause being delivering some of the sickest DEATH METAL imaginable as a way of calling forth the past glory of true, old-school death metal!
