Today, Aural Music announces October 9th as the international release date for Orbita's highly anticipated debut album, Farewell to All We've Lost, on CD and vinyl LP formats.
Emerging from the shadows in 2020, Orbita first made their mark with a debut demo deeply rooted in the raw, unfiltered spirit of traditional stoner doom. As the band underwent a series of lineup changes, their artistic vision expanded, embracing a darker, more immersive, and emotionally charged sonic identity.
Today, Orbita stand as a new upcoming force in the Italian dark / doom metal scene, crafting oppressive atmospheres, crushing riffs, and haunting melodies that explore the deepest corners of the human psyche. Their music transcends the boundaries of conventional doom, blending hypnotic heaviness with profound introspection to create an intense and cathartic listening experience.
Τhe album was recorded and mixed at Vacuum Studio by Enrico Baraldi, whereas the cover artwork is a painting by Benjamin König (Hexvessel, Finnr's Cane, Horna).
