After six years of silence following their inaugural EP, Asuryasparsha (অসূর্যস্পর্শা), Kalikshetra black-noise esoterorists Nirriti reemerge as the embodiment of total negation, wielding the blade of Neti-Neti to sever the Monotheistic Godhead, dissolve the assertion of a supreme Creator, and obliterate the doctrine of creation itself, leaving no ground upon which a Creator may stand! With Axaazaroth of Canada's esteemed Nuclearhammer again on drums, the power-trio proceed to whip forth a delirium that's martial and mesmerizing in equal measure. Nirriti mulch the shattered remnants of primitivist black metal, earliest grindcore, and outsider noise into something that sounds - and looks - quite unlike anything else, only a horrific reflection of the inner and outer world. Reverse voices of the dead reverberate around the sonic / psychic wreckage, and both strings and skins similarly swirl with amorphous-yet-inexorable intent. Thus, the act of "listening" both becomes one of survival or transcendence, depending on that listener's proclivities; there is no middle ground here.
