Finnish purveyors of atmospheric black metal PAARA invite listeners into a world of northern darkness with "Laulut tulen ja jään", their third full-length album, now streaming in its entirety through an exclusive premiere hosted by Black Metal Promotion, ahead of its official release on October 30, 2026, via Dusktone.
Marking the band's return after several years away from the spotlight, the album brings together ferocious black metal, melancholic folk melodies and mesmeric passages, with clean vocals and choral arrangements adding depth to its more expansive moments. The tracks draw on the country's myths, folklore and darker past, weaving tales of supernatural beings and forgotten ages into a varied journey between savage intensity and sombre beauty.
