On November 25th internationally, Adirondack Black Mass is proud to present Blasphemaniac's highly anticipated second album, Ataque Diabólico a Sacralidade Brasileira, on CD format.
Keeping the wounds in the flesh of deep-rooted Christianity painful and wide open, poisoning blackened souls and crushing posers for more than ten years, Blasphemaniac return to fuck you with Ataque Diabólico a Sacralidade Brasileira, their first full-length since 2021 following countless splits and singles. Unclean and unsafe, Blasphemaniac are devoted to Satanic fanaticism and resurrect the radical, blasphemous, and pornographic primitivism of the '90s, with a sound inspired by the obscure classics of the '80s. Such can be felt, in full fucking force, with their second album: carrying all the wickedness and savagery of the tropics in its veins, bringing together black, death, thrash, and speed metals with total unconcern for the listener's comfort, where the rudimentary violence of Vulcano and Sarcófago meets the speed and fury of Sodom and Kreator, all blessed by the Infernal Trinity of Venom, Hellhammer, and Bathory.
However, Ataque Diabólico a Sacralidade Brasileira is not merely a repurposing of other, older bands' glories; rather, it is a reinvigoration and violent ransacking of ancient values, obsessed with the rawness of analog recordings and all the physicality surrounding the essence of underground metal. Blasphemaniac want you to FEEL this - and to feel the danger, filth, and profaneness of the fullness of their coming. Always purging the presence of contemporary sterility and its algorithmic logic, seeking a narcotic and shameless impurity in its tones and verses, these Brazilians know no half-measures here, blending lyrics in English and Portuguese throughout the repertoire. Their verses go beyond the name they carry, also speaking of black magic, occultism, and necromancy, all of this from a profoundly South American perspective, bringing syncretic elements from the cultures that shaped these lands and resisted in order to preserve them.
Those ancestors who died venerating only their own "devils," fed with sacrificial blood as archetypes of Lucifer. No "biblical Devil." No Hollywood little vampires.
No fun.
No trends.
No algorithm whores.
No cheap nostalgia.
No scene.
Only undomesticated METAL, in its most extreme, infamous, and hostile form.
