Szósty album Agrypnie w przygotowaniu ...

AOP Records announces the signing of post-black metal stalwarts Agrypnie. The first fruit of this union shall be the band's as-yet-unnamed sixth album, which is currently being written.

In the beginning of 2004, Torsten H., singer of German black metal band Nocte Obducta and live guitarist of Austrian black metal band (and now AOP labelmates Anomalie), decided to start the solo project Agrypnie to realize his own ideas. In April 2007, after the release of the self-produced demo as well as the first full-length release, F51.4, he decided to search for live musicians to play concerts.

Currently, Agrypnie have released five albums, one EP, the Pavor Nocturnus compilation, and a self-produced demo. They've embarked upon tours with such bands as Dornenreich, Harakiri for the Sky, Totalselfhatred, and Der Weg einer Freiheit. Now, in 2019, Agrypnie have signed with AOP Records. Torsten is currently writing the next full-length, and the band will enter the studio at the end of this year.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce following news - Agrypnie is now officially signed to AOP Records!" says Torsten. "I am extremely pleased to be among great friends and such bands as Harakiri for the Sky, Anomalie, Ellende, Firtan, and Karg! I am looking forward to working together with this new awesome partner!"

Continuing, Torsten reveals the following: "As I promised last year, the next Agrypnie release won't take ages again like the extremely hard birth of Grenzgænger/Pavor Nocturnus. To be true to one's word, at the end of this year, we hit once again the Phil Hillen/SU2 – Studio to record the next Agrypnie full-length release! Further details later this year!“
